Psyah, i dont think you understand that this is not an issue of personal morality, rather the life of a human being.
Meaning, dont gamble with his/her future. Especially, good God, especially if its a baby girl. Because South Asian society is a caste system where the female is among cattle.

I'm not a Mufti ... perhaps for such societies it may be more valid than others ... but if you follow the thread I have not indicated anywhere any absolute stance ... I am talking comparisons only.
