Al-Azhar says women pregnant by rape must abort baby

Re: Al-Azhar says women pregnant by rape must abort baby

Peace again Sister

There are a few things that concern people when they contemplate having sex. These are:

1) STD?
2) Might get pregnant
3) People think I am loose

Risk of pregnancy is a realistic deterant for two lovers in having unprotected sex. Those lovers may be legally bound by marriage or not. Agreed some people want to have babies and a few others never think about babies at all they just engage.

Giving the pill now you call it 'care' and this realistic deterant to zina you call it a prevention to one person. I think you will find the statistics speak for themselves. The whole point of contraception is so people can enjoy sex without worrying about the consequences.

The other way they may find, but I am curious that in mid-sentence you have switched from talking about consenting fornicators to victims again. Is the female a 'shafted victim' in an illegal
sexual encounter that she has agreed to? Or are you saying that rape victims will suffer because we want to be prudent with the unchaste people?

I have already agreed that there are benefits in the pill but not on an ever ready basis, and rape victims need to be identified correctly. Care is social counselling in my books and society will still be in turmoil with loads of illegally interacting people should we follow the 'progressive' approach.

It seems you have nothing to say regarding the Islamic severity on taking a life vs enduring a hardship.
