second: I was travelling wth my 2 month old baby for the first time, was travelling in first class I was the only lady wth a baby and rest there were only gents, when I entered everyone gave me bad look tht this lady n baby will spoil their journey everything went fine till landing, I think because of air pressure her ears started hurting n she started crying so badly n over the top of her voice, paci feeder she was not ready to take anything, air hostess came to em n she was like its ok she will be fine once plane will be landed , everyone was giving me bad looks.

third:i was again travelling wth a baby this time via PIA I first asked for baby cot, air hostess said sorry they forgot to load cot in plane. then I asked for seat belt for my baby she said: maa k hathon se bhar kr koi seat belt nhi.

fourth: first and last time travelled via air blue we reached pak n they forgot to load our bag, it came after one day.

fifth: the good one, few months back when I was going for hajj the pilot of the plane was my dad’s best friend, he called me in cockpit it was an awsum experience seeing how things work and of course the front view.

PS: whenever I go to pak end up fighting wth authority personals there and our paki men they all are standing in unaccompanied ladies and kids line

anyways this ladies were showing there passports one of them said ill go get toh the conveyor belt first before you can go there you have to show your passoprt again so this guy is asking her for her passoprt she starts arguing with her the both shouting and screaming the passport security guy slaps her she slaps him and it all kicks off lol was i glad to get out of there that day

Re: Airport/plane Stories

guy slapping her? He deserved to be slapped back
recall once seeing men, one or more, cant recall, at a pakistani airport, queuing up at a women only checkout counter. And the board was right up there.

Re: Airport/plane Stories

I was flying from Boston to Isb. the first leg of thr journey was from Boston to NYC. I got to the airport a good 3 hours early and when i checked in my baggage and went through the security , i realized i dont have my boarding card with me anymore. I searched and the security people searched but no one found it. I had to go back to the counter to get another one and they refused to give me another. I had to repurchase the ticket but they said no flights for JFK ,i had to catch my connecting flight for Pakistan from there, so i purchased a ticket to Laguardia, then took a cab from laguardia to JFK and finally got to my flight.

Re: Airport/plane Stories

PIA ki air hostesses are always like this. :hehe:

Re: Airport/plane Stories

We (me & my father) were going to Pakistan & our luggage weighed a bit too much.I told my father not to take random stuff of aunties/uncles as we already got enough of our own but noooooo … So we took some stuff out & I told that dude behind the counter that we have taken some stuff out & asked him to weigh the bag again. This time it only weighted one kg more which was okay. That guy behind the counter looked up & said " Now promise me you won’t put the stuff back you took out into your handbags" & I was like okaayyy.

And guess what? My father started putting that stuff into our handbags lol :rotfl: … I was like “abu ji: what are you doing?” ,he said since your brother left(who came to drop us off) so we couldn’t ask him to take this stuff back & I just don’t wanna throw anything away. I was laughing like anything & was helping my father with stuffing.

Re: Airport/plane Stories

I don’t think I ever been to a PIA flight where the air hostess did not try to act ‘overly friendly’ with my father, to the point of making him quite uncomfortable. Of course I don’t blame them, lol. It’s usually because someone from the crew or a senior official would claim to know my father and the air hostess would think it’s her duty to act like a happy airhead around him.

The story that never gets old and the one I can never forget is PIA plane door not opening despite over half an hour of landing. That must have been 1998/1999. Everybody was an extreme state of panic, praying to God, cursing the PIA. making promises to never fly with them again. But I think I was the only person on that Heathrow to Lahore flight that found the incident absolutely hilarious and I still do.
