Does anyone knows if Etihad Airline is good or not? Anyone or any of your friends family travel this airline? Tell me about it? how are the seat, space, etc etc.

PIA cannot even compete with the quality against Etihad. Etihad is way ahead of PIA. I have done only short flights on etihad so I don't know how they perform on the long hauls.

With todays rules for air travellers, where you can not lock your suitcases that are checked in luggage.
I think PIA offers better deal from USA, since there is no change of Plane involved hence no ground handlers from third world countries get into your belongins where you have a change in Plane or lay over; and only one stop or even Non Stop to Pakistan, you pay a little more but have peace of mind, and best Food onboard.
PIA is the only way plus they are flying New Boeing 777 airplanes too.

So apparently PIA is the worst airline & Pakistan should dump PIA & people going to & from Pakistan should only use foreign Airlines. Thats what I got from 95% people here.
Wake up, open your eyes, be thankful for what you have. You haven't travelled on many airlines I have. PIA is much much much better than many. Yet, its us who make things better, why WE .. yes WE make the toilet dirty? Why WE dont complain it properly if there is something wrong? In 1985 my mother lost a bag in hold baggage, PIA not only found that bag but also offered us First class return flights on our return journey out of PK.
Yet, if u dont like the airline, dont use it/travel by it. Last year I travelled from Toronto to Lahore on PIA, I cannot complain, toilets were OK, air stewards treated us like humans (pretty acceptable), food was of medium quality if not great. I didn't find anything wrong with anything.
I have travelled by several airlines, if I start counting I wont even remember their names even & will definately miss few, but what I always say. If u are flying from Europe to USA best airline is Virgin Atlantic. If you are flying from Europe to Canada try KLM or even BA, dont even think about Air Canada. Europe to Pakistan (& many other destinations), if u want blond smiling air stewardesses who are highly paid by Arabs & ready for service because they are paid 5 times more than PIA air stewardesses go ahead travel by Emirates (pay few quid extra too).
My worst experiences, to USA - United Airline.
To Canada - Air Canada.
To Pakistan - Gulf Air (still I dont say they are bad).
To Cyprus - Transavia.
To Hong Kong - Sabina (part of journey).
But worst of the worst was United Airline. 1 out of 10.
I will never call PIA bad, it carries the flag of the country where my roots come from I am proud of PIA no matter I dont agree with their policies no matter there is a lot to improve yet its something I can say is from my country. We can try to make it better, all depends upon us.

Neera, my last trip to lahore for a wedding, I travel through PIA, they lost my luggage, can u believe that…i mean all my clothes, lahanga, makeup (even contacts :)) i was really disappointed cuz wedding was the next week…
I had to buy all new clothes from lahore for the wed…after i came back from pak after two week…we got a call from the airport at 2:00 a.m. after FOUR months that our luggage was found from Qatar or i forgot some other airline…wo bhi because my name ,phone and address was on it…
really bad experience for me…

Eitehad is a good alternative to check out
IF PIA is not available for the date you want
I fly PIA - and have no issues with them
Try to get some stats for lost luggage for all the other airlines
Only then can you say that PIA is bad or worse...
It can happen in any airline - to anyone

yea..you should have seen the suitcase..it was not the suitcase i flew with…really in bad shape..

well najim i didn't see anything bad with air canada or gulf air.actually i liked to travel with gulf whenever emirates was fully booked.
And really u can't lock ur chked in luggage now?wooo...
