I rang her for a qoute and she suggested someone closer to me who has trained from her.. still not decided whether im gonna use the other girl but this one is really good, love her make up.
P.s i wana go for the arabic style eye make up for the first day too :D
As for airbrushing.. I think it looks very good but masha'Allah my skin is in good condition so a good foundation should do me fine!! However if my beautician gives me the airbrush option then i wud defos go for it.

I'm not really feeling any of these Naveeda, Lubna etc. Its all a caked paindoo look to me but I guess it depends. Ive seen lots of brides look gorgeous but I know I will look horrible with the sort of makeup these asian artists do.

She is based down south, London area so u should be fine! ;) Im all the up north! Yeh i agree with u, thats wat tempted me to enuire. She charges about £350 wich is reasonable.
As for all these other artists, they abit too overrated and charge ridiculous prices. So many other MUA's who are probably just as good but not promoted as much. Btw why do u say that kinda makeup will make u look horrible...
Akh I have strong prominent features as do most Pakistani's so I need a make up artist who will blend it all into a smooth look like this arabic MUA does.
I am not fair nor dark just in between so strong makeup wont suit me because of my complexion either.
I'm wearing a deep red lengha/dress and the last thing I want is rosy red cheeks, red lipstick and red on my eyes, eeeeeer!
I have heard too many horror stories with these Naveeda, Lubna, Fariah etc.... I cannot be bothered with them. Theyre work is good not amazing anyway!
Why dont you look at some arabic makeup artists in your area? Maybe you could even get a deal for your mehndi in that package. Arab's do really nice mehndi!
Awrite.. I know wat u mean! Its all about the application and blending.. I want a nice dramatic look for the barat but by that i mean arabian style eye makeup and probs a deep red lippy which looks beautiful on asian skin.. Im not very fair nor dark aswell but red shade lippy looks very nice! Whereas smoky eyes and peachy/pinky/nude lip shades il save for my walima.
I found another girl who does the arabian style makeup.. altho she's based in London she dusnt mind travelling but I wud have to pay for travel, which i dont mind cos like the rest she isnt askin for couple hundred pounds, just watever it'l genuinely cost her! Only problem is I need a trial which means a trip down to London and im not when or how il manage cos i dnt often travel to London..hmmm
Airbrushing is really great. I had airbrushing done on my Nikah and in person I felt that my makeup was a little light because I am usually used to wearing a lot of makeup but then when my pictures came out i noticed a world of difference from my airbrush look compared to regular foundation and it just looked so flawless. i would definitely reccommend going with it for your wedding events. i'm not to sure about all the benefits but from experience you don't feel overly done, and it lasts the whole night. i also have a problem with dark circles under my eye and i was worried it wasn't covering enough but you can't even see them in my pictures! :)

Awww I’m inshallah having that smokey eyes and peach/nude lips for my bharat. I’m very anal over everything. I feel so suffocated from just thinking about the red lengha with the jewelery and the makeup on top. My family had to force me to buy jewelery I said I didnt want to wear it! Now makeup… ufff!
Aww ur parents will be fumin if u refused! lol but im sure it’l look lovely so dont worry and enjoy it! Are u havin the one day only? I wana go for 2 different looks for both days but i love makeup anyway so i dnt mind experimenting with diff looks!

Aww thats the way it should be! Its ur big day and u gotta make sure its perfect for u!!Im not the only child but me and my fiance have made decisions on nearly everything.. venue, decor, stage, caters, colours,outfits etc.. parents just left us to it :D
