What is it exactly that declares them to be non-muslims? On what basis did Pakistan’s goverment declare them outside Islam? What as per their beliefs clashes with the real Islam?
Someone please enlighten me but in simple words. Thank you.

They have their very own prophet
They have their own holy book called Braheen-e-Ahmadiyya
They have their own holy city of Qadian
They have their own pilgrimage to Qadian
They have their own heavenly graveyard
They have their own Masjid-e-Aqsa
They have their own meaning of KALIMA in which Mirza gets included automatically
They have their own 'Holy Family'
They have their own set of 'Companions'
They have their own religion called Ahmadiyyat
Hi TheNewWannaBe, I met an Ahmadi girl in one of my classes last year and when she discovered that I thought she was Muslim, she quickly corrected me. That is just one example but I know of other Ahmadi people and they don't call themselves Muslims either.
Look around your self.. and be judge of your own...
to explain me the picture of Islam today...?
Well,
Ahmadiyee Muslims are presenting it, speaking of it and
maintaining it in an ideal and according to the Quranic teachings ..
at present and even they did it in the past..
Despite..people of sub-continent didn't want it...!
They are the real Embassadors of Islam at present..
Really? I don't know why those people refer to themselves as Ahmadis then...I don't know them well at all so maybe they were telling me their "sect"...
TheNewWannaBe, Wikipedia has some info on Ahmadis and contrasts their beliefs with mainstream Islamic beliefs though I don’t know how reliable it is. Ahmadiyya - Wikipedia
Whilst I have no doubt that anyone who believes there was another prophet after the Seal of the Prophets is a non-Muslim, a sect amongst the Ahmadies was brought to my attention last year.
It seems that there is a group amongst them that denies that Mirza was prophet or messiah, and claims that his writings were tampered with after his death to put that claim in. They simply claim that he was a religious scholar or reviver.
What is the status of one who denies Mirza was a prophet, and instead follows some of hi teachings on the basis that he was a religious scholar and nothing more?
That’s TRUE mad_scientist, they do have different sectors and they all have different beliefs. Some of them simply deny that Mirza claimed to be a prophet and claim that he was simply a scholar and others deny that Mirza was a prophet but then they have their own KHALIFAS, claim that Mirza recieved MESSAGES from Allah just like other prophets did and they also consider non-ahmadis as KAFIRS.
But it’s totally wrong that they don’t consider themselves as MUSLIMS, they certainly consider themselves as muslims and they are proud Muslims just like others but unfortunately they have been mislead and some of their beliefs are simply UNISLAMIC.
