Ahmedinejad's letter

Re: Ahmedinejad’s letter

My Gosh…Bush got something done?

I do not agree that Bush should reject this letter and try to use the same thing as he did against Iraq i.e bad leader, history of violence against his own people blah blah blah because as we all know that is not his purpose, if it was the coalition of willing would be statisfied by now.

The best way to respond is to communicate. I mean if Iran is trying to build nuclear weapons, it is only because of security purposes. When your neighbouring countries are occupied by America that has increased anamosity against your country, the best way is to build defenses. Iran will only attack if provoked. Security delimma is the main concern for Iran and the U.S. Going ‘tit for tat’ won’t help the cause.

If Bush chooses to respond to this letter in thoughtful and serious matter, it will open a lot of doors. Even if the Muslim countries won’t agree, it will make a very good impersion as to U.S finally making an ‘effort’. Even if the turn out is not posotive it won’t make matter any worse than they already are.

This letter, no matter how bizzare it may sound, is a new line of communication from Iran to U.S. During the Cold War, U.S maintained diplomatic relations with the Soviets and as I recall still U.S has an embassy in Syria. So, why not Iran?
