Iraq became a "broken country" precisely because Sad-Damn was as **bombastic **as AhmadNejad.
Instead of learning from Iraqi experience, Iranian leadership is hell bent on following the same path.
Be-Waqoof Maulavis don't realize the situation until it is over and done with.
In the end, Ahmadenejad and other Maulvis will take a comfy apratment in a Western country just like their Khomeini lived in Paris before bringing the plague to the Iran and the rest of the region.
Iraq only became a broken country thanks to the UN and US. It wasnt saddam that was malnourished or his palace that lacked medicine and clean water but the average iraqi. for that you can thank saddam and his cronies, America and UN.
Iran is a different a story however. The leadership has the support of the majority of its people, which is what brought the revolution about, and that is what makes the much stronger as a nation.
What Ayatullah Khomeini did for Iran is still celebrated by iranians to this day. They love him and the 'plague' he brought for them. The shah on the other died homeless somewhere in his masters land, longing to go back. :)
