Israel has threatened to attack nuclear sites in Iran because Iran has threatened to wipe Israel off the map and could give Nuclear weapons to Hezbollah and Hamas. Get your facts straight.

Iran and Israel have been threatening each other since 1979, they have been mutual enemies ever since. Recently however, it was israel’s suspicion of irans intention about nukes that triggered off the pre-emptive threats, which resulted in Ahmadinijaad threatning retaliation if israel or america attacked. Pre-emptive is obviously a first strike without warning. Retaliation incase of attack is merely a reaction. The instigator here is therefore Israel.

None of these excuses can be used by Iran. Iran does not face a threat of existence nor an annexation of territory by a more powerful neighbour as Israel and Pakistan does.

No Iran does not face the threat of being ‘wiped out of existance’, and niether does Israel or pakistan for that matter. I think we need a reality check. Like i said Iran doesn’t have a problem with jews living there, it has a problem with the ‘state’ of israel being built on other nations such as palestine. By your logic the palestinian should be given the means and the nuclear technology by america to fight israel, because not only are they under threat from being wiped out, thousands of them have already been wiped out since the creation of Israel..so what do you say eh?

Do you know who hashimi rafsanjani is? im presuming not, since he was the main opponent to ahmadinijaad, and a reformist candidate. rafsanjani was more for the elite and the youth, ahmadinijaad won because of his track record as a mayor, and his support for the underclass.

Assuming again. no credibility whatsoever. especially considering they have repeatedly asked the europeans to do it and have no intention of seeing to it themselves. Besides, they dont need nukes for israel, they have thier right hand team, hizbullah.

As for the holocaust, your opinion and using Neo-Nazi professors and historians to back up the claims shows to me the lack of utter understanding you have in regards to it. The holocaust did happen, 6 million Jews did die, whether you like it or not. If these same historians came out and said that less than 7 thousand muslims died during the partition of India, lets see how much credence you give them then. If that historian was the only guy to debate it, you may have had a point. But the exaggeration of the account has been debated my many historians, who are not considered neo nazi. This was before the Iranian President called it a myth. IMO believing the tragedy did occur is one thing, but to exaggereate and not let anyone question the contradicting detail coming out, is abit pathetic to say the least. Do you really think that the world is going to beleive some clerical fatwa that says that Iran will not make nuclear weapons. Perhaps its you that should stop putting 2 and 2 together and making 11.

Ofcourse not. The US will not take the fatwa into account for the obvious reason that they wont have a case left to build on. They need the nuke excuse desperately if they want to isolate and attack Iran.

A fatwa by a mujtahid holds huge significance in Iran, but people are either too ignorant or unwilling to see these basic facts. If the average person used their two bit brain cell and study the iranian/shia culture, they would realise the power of a religious edict from the highest spiritual leader of iran… which is why it is pretty obvious to me their intentions are wholly peaceful and the american gov is having you guys on…which is nothing new either.
