Welcome to Gupshup! I would like to clarify a few things first.
There are certain things in Islam which are quite solid and one of those is the concept of UP and how it relates to a domain of height and thus outwardness from the Earth.
It is an established belief that Earth is the lowest of physical domains, meaning it is the inner most to us. Also when speaking about the spiritual domain it needs to be given a parameter in reference to the physical domain. This is where metaphysics comes in.
Accordingly, it is clear that the limits of the physical world is where our perception of it becomes limited. We can physically perceive i.e. observe the limits of the skies beyond them is not perceivable we cannot measure nor can we comprehend those things, but we can imagine and conceptualise them. This process puts in place another realm a realm of belief in the unseen. That what we can perceive with our inner vision.
Jannah is literally translated to 'garden' but beyond the samawaat (skies) there are these things by faith. However, your documentary can only talk about what is within the first sama' the first layer of sky which is everything that we can fathom with our physical faculties.
In the time of Muhammad (SAW) a mute woman was asked where God was, she pointed to the sky and Muhammad (SAW) called her a believer. This is evidence that UP is the correct understanding for those things Ghaib. Becuase UP is actually outward and outward is distance from us and the greater the distance from us the lower grasp we have of it the lowest grasp are of those things ghaib which are ... unseen.
Allah (SWT) is the Most High ... we can understand this in both physical terms and allegorical terms.
For height is a position of authority and rank rulership and control just like a heirachy diagram, but height is compounded physically too, we put Qur'an in high places out of reverence, the podium is a high place.
Height also has strategic advantage it is the vantage point from where the greatest field of view can be reconciled. So both literally and allegorically we can understand that height is superior.
Furthermore in the Qur'an, Allah (SWT) states He Rose over the Arsh. Over provides the understanding of that which is under is in a position of controlled and in servitude. But it also demonstrates the outwardness that Allah (SWT) encapsulates all but nothing can encapsulate him.
Also linguistically in Arabic there is a grammatical construct known as a mudhaf:mudhaf ilay which is the possessed: possessor construct. One example is Rasulullah.
That means Prophet of God. It is a rule that a general noun like Rasul cannot be preceded by the letters Al i.e. Al-Rasul means 'The Prophet' because this is a definite condition of that noun. So nothing in the definite state can be part of the mudaf, mudafilay construct. Allah (SWT) is a name which is always in the definite state, additionally it begins with the letters Alif and Laam. Accordingly nothing therefore can put Allah the word in a condition of possessed and in actual terms this is also true Allah (SWT) cannot be possessed or contained by anything, because in order for that to happen it would need to be bigger than what occupies it. But we know that Allah (SWT) is The Most Great.
Allah (SWT) encapsulates and for us that means UP and hence every reference to a domain in the ghaib needs to be UP.
I hope this makes sense.
You are so ARROGANT. Do you get mind satisfaction when you come here and hurt the feelings of Qadianies, Mirzaies or whatever. Are you here trying tho show us the Sunnat of our Rasool Muhammad Mustafa (saw)?
The Qur’an clearly says “argue with the ‘opponents’ in the best manner”
Are you doing that? I want A ANSWER PLEASE. IF YOU CAN’T PROVIDE A ANSWER, THERE IS NO NEED FOR YOU TO FURTHER DEBATE IN THIS THREAD. I’D KINDLY REQUEST YOU TO LEAVE THIS DISCUSSION THEN.
You can calm down NOW.
AQ brother I feel for you, please find the Path! I pray for you all and I hope my prayers come true. **Ameen

You are so ARROGANT. Is it there in UK where you are trying to breed false accusations?

Typing in red bolded font with capslock on, calling other pigs and monkeys and arrogant is the best manner?
btw, ahmadis are pretty calm even when others are calling them non-muslim... its the non-ahmadi crowd that needs to calm down
Are they now, maybe you wanna take a walk over to Youtube and check out some of AKShaikhs video's, and more importantly the comments left by Qadiani's.

so what if I write in red and bold with capsclock? Do you know why I write like that? Aren't you Arrogant? Coward, you NEVER admit that you are wrong, you have a wrong behavior, BUT you are the first ONE to step in and show us our mistakes whereas I admit that I have made mistakes.
Isn't this a sign of Arrogance? Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (AS) deserves pity, right Hareem? This is your word, your saying. BUT NO YOU WILL COME AND POINT AT ME.
Don't you see that I told you million times that by calling them monkeys, pigs the Mahdi (AS) means their deeds. One more thing, aren't you people saying the one who will come will break the cross and kill the swine? Go against the Religion of Allah with the Sword, break the cross = part of their belief and kill the swine, calling the Christian people swine? Wonderful contradiction.
dewdrop ask me if you want to know anything related to Ahmadiyyat. Thank You :)

I think making character remarks is neither serving the matter to be true nor does it reflect nicely on the person feeling the brunt of that bad behaviour, because it is possible to have a nice person being wrong and a horrible person being true.
Good advice is that if that someone puts emotional/personal attacks in their posts to you to ignore them and reply in way that deals just with the topic. I think Hareem01 should do the same also. Now you are both talking more about one another rather than the topic.
The question to ask is "what logic and what purpose does it serve for Isa (AS) to break the cross and kill the swine?"
To me it is quite a beautiful thing to do. Because by breaking the cross Isa (AS) will be telling Christians that he did not die on it and hence he would be dismantling the idea of resurrection and saving of the sins. He would be telling the Christians that they are indeed responsible for their own actions and that he will not support simply because they believe he died for them. So this is a religious purification and a call to tawhid. Thus I believe there will be a public display where a cross of significant standing will be broken before all eyes, which will symbolise the disapproval Isa (AS) has on Trinity and all dogma attached to it.
The act of killing swine shall be another important thing. Again a supplication may be performed him where all swine will die or a large amount will be in order to demonstrate his disapproval of eating them thus a purification of the worldly life. He will be symbolising to the Christians their error in accepting the deviant approach of abolishing the law which was the Jews and show that all three Abrahamic religions are indeed one in their dogmatic systems as well as many aspects of their worldly matters. It will reduce the effect of people being filthy as a result of eating filthy things and encourage in them self-discipline and piety.
Re: Ahmadi-Thread
Jesus AS coming back and breaking the cross and killing the swine ...to tell ya the truth man... there wasnt any prophet sent by Allah swt Himself who is this aggressive in nature.. how would you expect christian people to respond??.. how would you expect anyone to follow that person?.. if you take breaking the cross and killing the swine literally?..
These nonsense beliefs held by some or many Muslims are just beyond ones understanding!
ps: why not take breaking of cross and killing the swine as shutting christians mouth up with islamic knowledge by writing books , having debates..and actually destroying their beliefs ....when they're attacking the religion Islam?...should we not take it this way?
