I don't believe Imam Mahdi (as) has come yet. All the current events taking place around us are leading to a time when he will arrive. Among the missions of Imam Mahdi (as) is to unite all muslims under one banner, the banner of Islam, in following and practicing the sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (bpuh).
Muslims are not united under one banner, there still is hatred among the ummah. Call it misunderstandings if you will.
In order for Imam Mahdi (as) to have come, there had to have been Isa (a.s) present, as well as the true Dajjal.
So unless all three are/have been present at once, Imam Mahdi has not arrived.
As far as i'm concerned anyone who feels proud to be muslim, is my muslim brother. I may not agree with everything he/she says, but i will not call him/her non-muslim because i am in no position to do that. That judgement is upto the Lord Almighty (swt).
