Yes,you are a true only a one-two years gap is good not more than that because now the people choose a life partner that hardly a one-two years gap or a same age,more a 5 year or more gap then also a thinking gap and all occur,and you may be always do a compromise,I think choose a life-partner that really a understand you,and love you this is best for all this way your life be a good,you live a happy life.

I seem to have contradicted the cultural norm and married a guy who is younger than me and by more than 4 years..
All I can say is that it felt right..
Rishta's have come with an age spectrum of 10 years older, my age to Husbands age) and all I know is the age didn't matter as they key that was lacking was the understanding that I have with him.. the moral and emotional values we both carry
I think a lot matters on how old you look yourself and feel.. I have never looked my age or feel my age and he doens't look or act his age so alhamdulillah it worked out great as we met right in the middle :)

It is strange but his family were keen on it so my family didn't find the age thing as much of an issue as other things.. I always beleive it is the Boy's side who are normally ones to creep in with issues if their sons wife is older than him but if they are good about it then convincing parents won't be so hard..
You need to appreciate that younger husbands do have their issues such as work and study and them not being able to provide as quickly but you need to weigh up your options of what is more important for you
For me money and work and being provided for never really mattered.

i know:
a girl of 15 got married to a guy who was 25 (they were first cousins)
a guy of 24 got married to a lady who was in her late 30s
people who are the same age (same year) who are married to each other
I think age is just a number - its more of a mentality and personality thing. Mashallah all these couples are very happy. The first couple is celebrating their 16th wedding anniversary tomorrow :)

no..it doesnt matter if guy is younger than u ..n 2 yrs is like almost nothing..paki guys show u who is the man..who is the boss..n who is in charge..cause if u dont look older than them or if u look youngr than them even though ur not..they ll treat u like that n boss u raaound like theyr the leader n uv gota follow
n as for the ideal..i don think there can b one bcs u dont know what ur gona end up with wat ur options will b so there is no sense in saying anything b4 hand..u may want it 2 b a cerrtain way but u never know wat is in ur kismat..u might get smthng u never thought u would

I am 42, my women are 34, 26 and 17. Never had a problem. Age is just a number after all.

me and my hubby have an age gap of 10 yrs - we clicked and the age didnt matter to me much, and Alhumdulillah I think its the best decision I ever made..
