Obviously it varies from person to person but what according to you is the ideal gap?
I think 4 years gap is good, nothing more than that and yah nothing less than 2 years.
What do you guys think?

In the end it's the level of thinking and maturity that matters...age is nothing but a number :)
I've seen guys who are 29 married to 25 year olds..and those girls feel as if they are babysitting a child, because of how immature they can be! lol

Sure why not, if the guy and the gal r happy with it then i c no problem here. Its just not something i had like for myself :)
And you are rite, alot of it depends on the maturity level too but still most people have an idea what age gap they had prefer thats y i askd.

If the guy and girl have had enough interactions to determine that they're compatible with one another....(and have considered the possible impact of age on a relationship) then...whatever works for them.
I don't think there's any right or wrong answer here. Different strokes for different folks.

i think age diff doesnt matter as long as u have gud understanding.... i dnt mean to say dat omg if gal is 20 yrs yungr thn her hubby doesnt matterr... i mean 6-8 yrs is ok...

anyway, as long as there is nice understanding between 2 of them then i guess age does not matter .. but my personal prefernces are like 3-6 years ..

I'm curious. Why is that? What if she were the same age as you...or 1-2 years younger? What difference do you (as an individual) feel that it would make?
Most of the women near my age look like aunties. They are too mature for me :(
Over 6 years is too much personally, it would be strange getting married to someone who was born in a different decade.
Younger is a complete no no although it works perfectly fine for a lot of people.
Anything in between is fine.

My acceptable range: -2 to 4 years.
It really depends on the level of maturity of the person.

I don’t think there is such a thing as an “ideal gap” ; if you click, then you click.
Though if i saw an 18yr old girl/boy with a 90 year old man/woman, then i’d think otherwise…
my pwince chawming may be 2 yrs younger than me coz then I could boss him around and tell him how I know more than he does

I think the half-your-age-plus-seven rule is pretty much industry standard. Shouldn't matter who's older, but the younger the girl the more babies she can make.

Totally depends how much moola you have . If you are rich and loaded then 20 years is nothing , if you have a good enough job , then may be 10 years . If you are jobless then you might even settle for 2-3 years .

and soooo..I love to boss him around 
and he deserves all the bossing around coz he is too naughty 
But I never felt that he was not man enough for me coz he was younger than me…he knows how to let me know who is the man when i get too snooty
But…yeah…b4 him..a guy younger than me was a HUGE NO NO…but I have learnt that it doesn’t matter at all.
