You guys laugh but I’ve read studies where doctors and sociologists suggest tweaking the current model of devoting your twenties entirely to your career. They repeatedly stress that women should have children in their twenties and then focus on their career. Of course this is easier said than done, but I hope that in the future, people will be able to take time off in their career without being penalized for it.

Well if women are to have kids in their twenties, then men will have to settle down in their twenties too or marry women a decade younger than them. Guess the age difference in desi marriages isn’t all that crazy, in fact it’s pretty scientific.
