when i was young i prefered more mature guys, but now they are not more mature but just plain old

My husband is 2 years older than me and that works for us. He's not the type of guy who wanted a 19 y/o who he would have to 'train' and teach every simple thing to. As a result he works over 100 hours a week and I do everything. But it's worked out for us.

i used to prefer mature guyz abt 4-6 yrs older than me.
but i got married to my husband who's only a yr older than me.
pros: we share a very fun, youthful relationship. we did a lot of growing up together.
cons: sometimes must tolerate his immaturity :D but oh well, love is blind. i shall remain blind, mute and deaf while in love!

When I frist wanted to get marrid, I was kewl with someone age 30 (max). But now, i want someone to be my partner/equal, i dont want such an age difference, as if he was being a mentor/guardian.. to me thas not what marriaeg is about, at least not anymore

I was once given a very good piece of advice by a married friend. He said, "make sure you marry someone you can live with not someone you only love". And i agree with him. When you think of someone you can live with, would heis age really matter? I would rather go for how mature he is and how serious he is about a relationship and all the other qualities that are important.
