Re: after waxing
you mean with soap? not sure if it's harmful or not i personally have never done it though with soap i mean, but i always wash it with water to get the sticky feeling out
Re: after waxing
Why would it be harmful if you wash it with plain water?
I wash it ALWAYS with water, no soap though. If you wouldn’t wash it, wouldn’t you get all sticky and yucky? ![]()
Re: after waxing
you can get rid of wax residue by using tea tree oil.
also...washing should be fine as long as its with cold water.
Re: after waxing
Washing with soap is not harmful at all. I have not heard anything like that before.

Re: after waxing
Washing with soap harmful or not it just still like mystery. Caz still i didnt see any incident like this.
Actually pores open whn u wax the body parts. So no mehndi or soap. But yah application of body lotion help to close the pores.
Personally i wash the body and apply the lotion. And next day i take shower.
Re: after waxing
I guess its because some people may get bruises or cuts or allergy.

Re: after waxing
Soap is fine. You're not meant to take steaming hot showers or anything though. Baby oil removes the wax residue, and you can use a non-scented soap to clean yourself up, making sure to rinse with lukewarm water.
Re: after waxing
Ouch.
You girls are crazy. I wont even put hot water let alone apply soap on freshly stretched/pinched skin.
Re: after waxing

Re: after waxing
Water is completely safe. What else you can rinse off the residue with ![]()
Re: after waxing
Yeh, backing up what S_Punk said about hot water.
I used to use baby oil to remove the residue as well - put some on a tissue (not cotton as it falls apart too easily) and wipe the residue areas well. A couple of months back, I didn't have any baby oil available so used Meadowfoam oil and it worked SO well. The wax just came off so easily and my skin was super smooth after washing too.
