India is guarding its own boundaries. every country in this world has a right to do so.
No country has a right to commit the kind of war crimes India has...from butchering tens of thousands of civilians and raping thousands of women, to arson and looting, your army has done it all. Not to mention how they've recruited their own band of thousands of militants that they use to terrorize the local population.
if locals supported independent kashmir then it would have become one by now.
What a stupid argument.
The British occupied India for at least 190 years before they were expelled...by your logic, for most of that time Indians must have loved colonial rule, because they would have gotten their independence much sooner if they hadn't.
you might have a different view but not everyone in my mother land agrees with you.
No one is talking about your motherland. We're discussing Kashmir, and the people there have repeatedly made it abundantly clear that they want nothing to do with Indian rule.
i have known kashmiris since i was a kid and i know they are nice people.
Indeed we are. What does that have do to with wanting to live under Indian occupation?
and you never know i might retire in kashmir when i am old.
Thankfully Indian still aren't allowed to buy land in Kashmir.
