Was there bloodshed when Bhawalpur was merged in Punjab? Was there bloodshed when Bhawalpur was not restored?
because there were no ethnic motives.

and that "claim" was debunked by the claim makers (army/rangers).

lolz. You better watch the video/audio messages of leaders of MQM. I am not saying that everybody in karachi is longing for a separate country but atleast MQM would happily do that if they were able to. So where is the problem, MQM is the party that get votes of majority in Karachi.
some posts in this thread do justify the slogan 'Sindhi Muhajir Bhai Bahi, kis ne ye aag lagai'. Finally, that aag lagane wali party (mindset) is identified lols.

Another more popular variant is "Sindhi Muhajir bhai bhai, yeh Dhoti or Naswar kahan se ayi".
So please don't rationalise this type of abjact racism. Honestly. There are better ways of taking digs at the fellow poster without resorting to such racial sloganeering.
If anyone is really interested to know ke kisne aag lagayee, then proper history books suggest that it was none other the local home boy Zulfiqar Bhutto who divided Sindhis/Muhajirs forever with his quota system to consolidate his votebank in rural Sindh.
Believe me Punjabis did not benefit at all from Bhutto's quota system in Sindh. So let off this MQM/PPP style blame game of making entire ethnic group the scapegoat.

Well, I was talking specific to Sachydino''s mentality as he comment on punjab. If you are agreed with everything he says about punjab then you are good to react to my comments.

Now this is really entertaining that they fight each other and blame punjabis. :D

I am pro division of Punjab (into lots of administrative units), it will not only benefit the province and the whole of Pakistan. My disdain for 'rig Punjab, rule Pakistan' electoral system is no secret. But it has to be said, the situation with Punjab and Bhawalpur cannot be compared with Sindh and Karachi. Punjab Assembly had seamlessly passed the resolution for Bhawalpur province, likes of Shahbaz Sharif promised to create Bhawalpur as new province in 2013 campaign, and none of these things led to any communal bloodshed or rise of ethnic tensions. So South Punjab is indeed a very unique case. I for one is quite surprised how there isn't much of a local pressure to create Bhawalpur province, despite the job being half completed.
India to this day is creating a new state after every other year, but in Pakistan, merely talking about new provinces is akin to breaking the country.
Creation of Karachi as a separate province is a distant dream, there will be bloodshed and we are not talking about in terms of law and order situation going out of hand for few days. The Establishment won't allow that to happen as it'll push the Sindhis further away and give serious boost to Separatism there. So for now, having an empowered and truly devolved LG system and perhaps a Federal budget for Karachi is the only way forward.
Why should there be a bloodshed? Do you think army/rangers/police don't exist in Sindh?
If a demand is not unjust then why suppress it based on assumptions? And if assumptions have basis and the demand just then why not stop the murderers and killers who will do the bloodshed?
Didn't Abul Kalam Azad say that creation of Pakistan will result in bloodshed. But did we stop? Do you think Pakistan should not have been created because Hindus/Sikhs were threatening bloodshed?
What a silly thing to say.
Trying to separate Karachi will result in civil war, and may be the end of Pakistan as we know it.
whats your mentality is now known to everyone on this forum and I just don’t need to specifically mention your stupid comments like ‘bloodshed’, ‘dushman ka dushman dost’. So aren’t you enjoying enmity between communities through such comments. There is this mindset (not to be confused with all Punjab or all communities living in Sindh) for which ‘kis ne aag lagai’ is perfectly suited.
You were the one who brought issue of separate province and bloodshed, where clearly no one was talking about that.
@Jolie Hope now you can make a sense from my earlier comment.
Ok if bloodshed is mentioned by some sindhi poster himself then it is ok but who gave this right to an outsider to discuss internal matters of sindhis and muhajir, right?
Even PPP leaders would say same let alone qaum parast.
And no I dont enjoy the enmity but find the attitude of people interesting.
“dushman ka dushman dost” analogy comes from “Sindhi Muhajir bhai bhai, yeh Dhoti or Naswar kahan se ayi”.
The thread title is “After Altaf”, and MK politics is also mentioned in OP. What is off topic with discussing MK politics then?
Oh God.....seriously guys, let's not turn bloodshed into a taboo word, and it is not just in Sindh that situation will get ugly if the province is divided, same will very much happen if Hazara province is created or North of Balochistan is turned into a province. It's just that in Sindh, lines were drawn a very long time ago, but the topic had been kept alive so you hear opposition's threats and proposed reaction more often.
Come on, if *marsoo marsoo Sindh na daisoon *does not allude to bloodshed and civil war like situation, then what does?
You know you believe everything can discussed. People has been discussing/challenging almost every religious and political ideology here then why defensive?

Its not me who is getting defensive here. Its you who is defending his statement in this very thread.
Yes, I'm all for the discussing any issue. Be it division of Sindh or separation of religion and politics. But the way you brought division, bloodshed (which is obviously not a taboo word as said by Jolie), and the way you started mocking posters with 'dushman ka dushman dost hota hai' shows that you are one of those who enjoy enmities among communities and have a very peculiar mindset to enjoy watching people suffering. You could have commented on this matter without referring to bloodshed. Even you could have easily avoided to ask Khoji to demand for separate country, but your comments got worse with each new post till you come with 'dushman ka dushman' comment. Whom were you calling each others dushman? Sachay and Khoji or Sindhis and Muhajirs?
I don't claim that this perception is 100% true, but in recent past various of your posts indicate that there is something truth in above assessment. Your bringing Karachiites in all negative light without losing an opportunity, strengthen my view. One of such example is your post in Paindu thread (coupled with your past posts like Tandoor wala and then false claim of railway stations names in Sindhi causing difficulties for travelers to reach their destinations).
I wish and pray that you would be a better person in reality, because I don't want to count you in the list of people who create hatred among the communities rather than playing a role of a connecting bridge during conflicts.
Have you ever heard the phrase "dushman ka dushman b dost hota ha" before ?
Ok lem me give you a hint. Some posters from karachi believe that people have valid reasons to hate punjab. Sachaydino and AP are always bent on punjab bashing. If you haven't read sachy's post how he comments on punjab then you should have stopped there when i said my comment was for sachy only. Sachy was being so nice to khoji while arguing that made me "jealous" as why cant he discuss in similar manners when it comes to punjab.
For railway stations milestones, if you want to live in past then I can do nothing about that. Btw can you plz help me understand what is said in following fb post?

This is altogether a different topic. However for your ego satisfaction here are few reasons.
The people who took over from legally elected government of ZAB belonged to Punjab
People who hanged ZAB in a false murder case belonged to Punjab
Jehadis were created in the eighties by people belonged to Punjab
Facists organization like MQM was created by people from Punjab
Pakistan's downward spiral were mainly due to actions of people from Punjab
The list goes on and on.......
AP is not Sindhi but Punjabi, if he can rightly bashed above draconian actions, why can't me being a non-Punjabi?
