I seriously think that Afridi can be a Grand Slam hitter for a major league baseball team. What do u think?
PS. I am a big fan of the way he plays cricket.

yes...he will have good career in baseball..
;)
Man, is afridi popular or what! When this thread was initiated, i thought it’ll just slip past everyone’s attention. But boy how wrong i was! Mo, AQ and others u have to realize that his over-aggressive play wins him alot of fans, just like a gd slam-dunker in b-ball. Vince Carter was always a capable player but what made him a hot-shot celebrity was slam dunk competition 2000. Same here. Afridi’s brand of play will always gurantee fan following for him.
As for his play. Guyz plz dont even think of comparing legends like zaheer and viv and sachin with afridi. Will i make sense if i start drawing comparisons betw. Klusener or Gilchrist and Miandad or Inzamam. Afirid isn’t a legend. Lets talk some sense guyz. Pinch hitters cant be legends! ![]()
can’t be??
Sure his all guns blazing approach can be entertaining, but its not always appropriate. Any way, good or not, I wish him and the boys luck and insha-allah if he is going to slog and swing without concern-may he middle a few and set the scoreboard ablaze. :)
Go Pakistan........
Afridi says, he hopes to mature as a cricketer while he is playing for Derbyshire. I would have thought over 5 years of International cricket that he has been playing, should have helped?
I think afridi is a star and aswell as a slogger… sometimes he can do :k: with the ball, sometimes with the bat and sometimes with fielding… so i think that they should keep him in the team unless he dont do anything like BADTAMEEZI…
