OK, I know it’s not nice to use vulgarity as used by Akhtar but we don’t know what Irfan might have said. So, let’s not blame one culprit.

But it was very amusing to see a fast bowler like Pathan walk all the way to the umpire at the bowling end in the middle of theover and complain like a sissy weasle. I think the Pakistani team figured the ploy was working and u could even hears laughs in the background…so I guess Shoaib being the senior fast bowler had to teach Pathan a few lessons. Albeit, he shouldn’t have used those gaalian with a minor.

thats my point…he should have said

“o pathan umpire k samney kia ro raha hai bachoon kee tarha, himmat hai tu 6 maar k dekha”

By the way, stumpmicrophones should ONLY be ON when the ball is in play - bowlers starts his run-up 'til the ball is dead. Why then Ten Sports let the viewers listen to player exchanges? AParently, they think it is attractive. The players don't say those words for the world to listen... it is only for mental degradation. ;)

I've watched the video, and it's nowhere near as bad as it was made out to be. I didn't hear the words [EMAIL="b@@#$d"]b&*#$d, but did hear "g&^$df maar doon ga". And that comment in itself, wasn't said with hatred malice, just with a little bit of hostility. In Lahore, it could've been an exchange between two friends, and neither would've thought of it much afterwards. Granted, Shoaib could've done without it. Pathan's demeanor was admirable though, he kept smiling that friendly, disarming smile.

And one thing Pakistani players seem to not realize is that their marketing potential in India will be negatively affected if they keep abusing Indian players.

listen really carefully with volume up when there are 2:15 minutes left in the footage.
I heard that during the live proceedings and thats why I was trying to get it. From wheere I picked up the fotage, the thread was full of all the members discussion that.

Listen carefully when Shoiab talks to pathan at the end of the over. You can hear b…chd, g@ndo, and something like kay teri g..nd mar doon ga, bakwas karta hay:D

yo proud paki i think u 've never played cricket or been a fast bowler.
this is all intimidation, and a fast bowler needs it. i cant bowl good unless i m angree and i wana ripp the batsman apart

i think this is going to be one of my favorites of all time, cause u can clearly hear shoib. great. this is even better then watching cricket it self.

You have played lot of cricket, and ofcourse you learned it in streets from where these two gentelman come from…

Yes I found it funny, because I have been watching cricket before you were even born and this is not something new in cricket.
Just because you lose the match , you are being emotional.
Have you ever played cricket in your life. If yes, than you know that at times you become too involve into the game.
