I've watched the video, and it's nowhere near as bad as it was made out to be. I didn't hear the words [EMAIL="b@@#$d"]b&*#$d, but did hear "g&^$df maar doon ga". And that comment in itself, wasn't said with hatred malice, just with a little bit of hostility. In Lahore, it could've been an exchange between two friends, and neither would've thought of it much afterwards. Granted, Shoaib could've done without it. Pathan's demeanor was admirable though, he kept smiling that friendly, disarming smile.
And one thing Pakistani players seem to not realize is that their marketing potential in India will be negatively affected if they keep abusing Indian players.
