Afghanistan bomb attacks kill twenty-one US soldiers in 48 hours

Re: Afghanistan bomb attacks kill twenty-one US soldiers in 48 hours

It’s true, everyday Iraq life was better off when a brutal dictator was in charge as he was able to keep Muslims from killing one another by using brutal means with the mass graves to prove it. Do you suggest a return to that formula?

To claim Afghanistan is at it’s worst condition now is laughable. The situation in Afghanistan is not good but to claim life was better there before the UN entered is a lie, that is unless you are speaking for the Taliban or al-Qaeda, life was better for them before the UN entered. Billions of dollars of infrastructure has gone up, schools destroyed by the Taliban have been re-built, Afghanistan is still suffering but to pretend it hadn’t been before the UN entered in rubbish.

Let’s be clear, the U.S. didn’t invade to help the people of Afghanistan, it was a response to an attack against the U.S. It is now in the interest of the U.S. to see Iraq and Afghanistan stable, violence free,** with a society that respects human rights, ergo one that opposes those that use Islam to justifying acts of terror.** A broken down Iraq and Afghanistan is not in the interest of the U.S. The U.S. gives billions in Aid to Pakistan so it doesn’t break down.
