While I agree to your identity concern but your take on "a lal masjid reaction" is totally out of place. How in the world bombing of schools is a reaction of lal masjid operation? And these are not the Talibans created by Army. These monsters are pure criminals.

These so called Taliban existed and were causing trouble for Pakistan long before Lal Masjid. People easily forget operation in Bajaur, Waziristan and only use Lal Masjid as "reaction".

i dont think ANP is thinking on this line. Renaming or provincial autonomy will never destablize pakistan,but will increase confidence of these people in pakistan.

I totally agree. People will have more confidence in democracy if this is done.
Secondly, ANP does not represent extremist population of N-W.F.P. It has progressive policies and if their leaders stick to their party policies, they can bring a lot of good change in Afghania. If ANP is allowed to show good results, there are more chances of combatting the germs of taliban successfully. ANP was never a supporter of Taliban regime - regardless of their origin.
