Afghan woman beaten to death for allegedly burning Quran

Re: Afghan woman beaten to death for allegedly burning Quran

When I say ‘fake mullah’, I do not mean somebody who is ‘pretending’ to be a muslim but in reality is not. Although there have been atleast 3 such cases of which I know in small towns of Pakistan which were not reported by the media. In those cases the mullahs/Imams of some famous mosques of small towns of Pakistan turned out to be nonmuslim indians. Since it was not reported by the media so cant provide links to the news but here with this news, that is not what I mean.

In this post of mine, the context of the term ‘fake mullah’ which Im using is that one’s attitudes can be totally against the teachings of Islam but they still are some mullahs or imams at mosques. That is what I mean by that term. Maybe that is where the communication problem was. Hope it is clear now.

So, by ‘fake mullah’, I did not mean someone who has acquired the identity of a muslim imam and incites the locals to join him in his evil despite the fact that there have been such ‘fake’ mullahs in Pakistan. But in this thread by fake mullah I meant someone can be a muslim and still be evil. Being a muslim is no guarantee of one’s righteousness or spirituality. That’s common sense (If that is how my posts were being misread).
