Just took some time out and took alot of pics in downtown Hayatabad (Peshawar). The theme is “The Plight of Afghan Refugees”.

A friend of mine, who is a very good photographer, told me i should include a part of the background while making portraits coz that will help others understant the story. But when i saw these kids, i thought i didn’t need any background. Their stories were written on their faces.

The kid in the first pic brought tears to my eyes, looks like he had a hard life.. :frowning:

When I see kids like this I think Pakistan should give them citizenship, I want these mashooms to be safe and sound but when I see the racist anti-Pakistan attitude of older Afghans I want to have Afghans deported.

Western raised Tajik Afghans ..dont make me laugh. i dont mind the Pashtun Afghan raised in Afghanistan so much. Just the Tajik ones or the hybrid Pashtun Tajik ones that are raised in the West.. that’s the anti Pakistan lot. Some of the stories they tell about Afghanistan when 99% have never stepped foot in Kabul :smiley:

Nearly 5 years of my life was spent with these kids.. in haji camp... I always used to visit them with my dad or mom :)...

lol. mara za kho pa phase 2 ke osegam. and i just moved here 5 years ago. pata nishta che taaso ba agha time dalta wai oom ao ka na : )
