Anyone been to Pakistan recently, and can recommend a good place to try? Please indicate which city its in.

In karachi there is Cynoption, its in Bahadurabad, its pretty reasonable and then there is another one opposite exsclusive, bahadurabad, can't remember their name.

well the boutiques cant really rip off cuz they have fixed prices .. imean they cant charge foreigners more cuz their prices are on the dresses..cynoption is gud for informal, casual occassions
For more formal occassion there is this boutique Gimmick on tariq road i guess.. indian dresses

Try the boutiques on MM Alam road in Lahore...if u like casual stuff...cynosure is pretty good with reasonable prices and much better designs then expressions..Cynosure is in Liberty Market...all the dresses usually run out pretty quickly as its really hot with the younger college going girls. Apart from That Maria.B in DHA and MM Alam road.Oh and yes Fortress has a lot of them too.

Right by Exclusiive, there are a TON. I got a lot of stuff from Cynoption and loved it. If you just walk around that area of Bahadarabad and Tariq Road, you should see a lot of very nice and affordable boutiques.

PCG all the boutiques n places n markets named here r good + reasonably priced ( except Maria B) go any try them ,u won't be disappointed , also don't forget to post the review on yr way back from pakistan .................... good luck

This disturbs me. Karachi is a very big city. And we can only come up with like 4-5 boutiques that cater to the middle class?
Pathetic.
If anyone wants to try their hand at business in Karachi, I'd say the mainstream fashion market would be the place to do it.

G2, yup thats what it's called.
I went to their shop in Hyderabad and I liked their stuff..and the guy was miffed that I hadn't heard about them before cuz they have a shop in Karachi also.
It's very affordable, and doesn't churn out same crap like every other ready-made clothing shop that I came across! Those were so so annoying.
HEER in D-ground Faisalabad also has very nice outfits.

Uhmmmm in Lahore there’s like 101 shops that have really gorgeous stuff that’s very affordable (650 RS)… i’m sure these shops should be in Khi and Islamabad, but is that 650 too espensive for the regular ppl or wat ?

i just hate the stuff n dresses rs 650,,,material is not fine n also KAM embriodery or other kam ect r really r fazool...sometimes 1st look attract us suddenly but all u can say pandoo thing n with out fitting n the alternation they offer also so bad,,,i dont know dats could b self choice,,if u just wana wear colorfull dresses with out thnking its style fashion or quality then its okk otherwise they r fast comen.

Ok so ur talking abt DESIGNER boutiques that have inexpensive stuff...
I always though teh stuff there was very cutend wishI cud buy it....but I cant really fit into them, they all come in only ONE size and theres not even room to alter it :(

i like cynosure alot. their clothes look like they were sewn on me their fit is so perfect.
i think a great majority of pakistani girls do not shop boutique....they just get it custom made from tailors. its cheaper that way. and boutique sizes xs,s,m,l dont always fit everyone.

I always shop at zardozi (liberty) in lahore or fortress....no point in 'marra-marreing' for a perfect bargain
