depends, are you using the term in its sense of marketing to and through affiliates or do you mean multilevel marketing which is now being given the name affiliate marketing to decrese the stigma associated with scamway type programs.

I am talking about pure affiliate marketing, sign up with company x and earn a commission from one of the affiliate on their network... not talking about scams.

explain what you mean by 'one of their affiliate on their network'

the 'affiliate marketing' I am familiar with is similar to affinity marketing, somewhat like when a company which is an affilaite of some other company i do business with approaches me with some offer or some joint offer.

but lets hear what you mean by how your affiliate marketing system works.

Hi,
I think we should not be so negative about affiliate marketing.Not all companies are scams.I'm in affiliate marketing and enjoying it.
Whats discouraging is that a lot of companies are using payment options not available to Pakistanis.The number of Pakistanis in affiliate marketing is next to nothing but there are thousands of Indians and they're doing very well.
What i suggest is to encourage Pakistani people to try atleast.The state of unemployment and other problems makes it important for us to enter the internet world and do what most of the civilized world is doing anyway.Why are we behind everyone?

Yes, Affilate Marketing is a good option. It takes a lot of efforts to earn revenue though. The start is difficult but once you deeply enter in to these things, it gets quite easier for you then. I am a freelancer and I have done affiliate marketing although I am not in touch these days.
