World War II killed 62 million people.
Lets do a percentage to see how many people died from nuclear weapons...

Dropping the nuclear weapons on Japan brought World War II to an end...
An invasion of Japan would have resulted in 10-15 Million Japanese deaths and 1 Million Allied Deaths...
Japanese fought suicidally, a garrison of 120,000 Japanese soldiers fought to defend the island of okinawa...
in 3 months of fighting
120,000 Japanese and 12,000 Americans died...
Apply that same result on the Island of Japan, and you would have 15 Million-16 million dead...

Doesn’t matter if those Americans are civilians (like the 300,000+ Japanese), as long as it doesn’t exceed the number killed by the Americans in Iraq, Afghanistan.

They won't rail against Hitler and his campaign but rather focus on American and its use of the bomb. They won't rail against Saddam and his killing of hundreds of thousands but again they will rail against the U.S. for toppling him. The US was well aware that he was killing civlians, and did nothing about it. Their pretense for the invasion was the “WMD” that he apparently had. This whole “liberation” bull$hit came aftwards when they realized how stupid they looked. We’re all not as stupid as mercenary.
