Well children, let's assume that you do not know how use the search function on Gupshup. Because there are lots of good discussions on DU that have been done over the years. So you are seduced by a "Photo Essay" that presumes to know the precise cause of the deformities. Well fine.
But please understand that there is Uranium in detectable doses is dirt in virtually every square foot of land in the world. Some areas have remarkably high doses and there are no recorded instances of mass deformities. Studies on Uranium miners exposed to high daily doses of aerosolized Uranium show increased instances of cancer, but not birth defects.
The pictures you have shown, if real, are far more likely to have be caused by industrial pollution, such as heavy metal poisoning. But go ahead and rant in some knee jerk response like good little lemmings.
And, perhaps attending science class from time to time might allow us to discuss this issue in a rational way, rather than presuming that science should then become political.
