I can cook all Punjabi food but obviously I have to get a diploma in culinary arts and cordon bleu to call myself a professional cheff.

Cookery school is much cheaper than the psychology degree and with becoming a chef I’ll have a lot of future opportunities like running my own business.

Then what are you waiting for!

I just don’t wanna handle haram meat specially pork.

That is a valid concern and I’d try to find my way around that if I were you.

I have seen chefs in the city though that are doing very very well…even have their own cooking studios with no professional training whatsoever.

Its a matter of passion and how much you are willing to put into it.
