I had my nikkah in aug and wedding in nov, so i’m going through the 1st year honeymoon phase.

What ive learnt in the first few months is there will be great deal of interference from people who will try and do everything to hurt your happiness but do not let it affect you and talk it through. Talking is the most important thing,along with trust.

Give each other space but spend valuable time with each other, do not suffocate each other. We both dont really communicate during the day (you know the "what did you have for breakfast? what you eating? cheesiness), we only speak if needed but give each other time during the evening since we’re both in different cities and can often speak on the phone for 4-5 hours.

1 thing though, you will definitely get to experience his mood swings.. ask him whats wrong, show that you care and are there for him and ask him to talk it through with you and if he gets rattled and annoyed BACK OFF!! its for your own good…lol.
