Without reading all three pages....heres some simple advice girl.

Life is too short. he is gone. History. Move on. He wasnt sincere with you in the first place. Controlling you but himself checking out all the honies. Typical asian uk guy behaviour.Not all of us but most of us are the same :(. Sounds like he was a PLAYA.

Eventually he will be a distant memory!

I’m a 19 year old girl from England and I was with my boyfriend for almost 2 years but before that we were best friends for 3 years or so. He told me he liked me almost a year into our friendship but I was afraid we would mess things up if we got into a relationship and that way we would lose our friendship as well. Sadly enough that’s exactly what has happened. After 2 years together I fount out he was flirting with other girls. I broke it off with him straight away and he apologized to me saying he loved me and blaah blaah blaah but I was too angry and my pride was too much swallow. Its been over a year since then and I stopped all contact with him. Since then I’ve had plenty of guys who have been interested in me but I’m so cynical and skeptical of guys which I know isn’t fair to them. I know its time to let go off the past but for some reason I’m still holding onto it tightly. like a complete and utter fool…Any advice would be appreciated:sid:

Just because you are cautious now in moving forward with a committed relationship does not mean that you are clinging to your past. Dont be too hard on yourself.

Keep yourself busy in positive activities...and with time....the intensity of the pain will decrease and you'll get past it.

One advise that i like to give and which has helped me a lot was focusing on re-building myself. Look for my past shortcomings in relationship and then learn from them. Life is full of test and trial eh. Never get yourself discourage by all these. You're way too young and you still have to see the world. And this advise is coming from someone who has been in relationship with ex for more than 6 years. Yes it will hurt but you know what...they say, whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Insha'allah ya'll find someone in your life sometimes!.

cuz you are 19, have no financial problems. you have enough of spare time not only to have a fling but then also to mourn over it.

Most asian guys ( i prefer the term chooche) are players...You can hardly expect any logic or sense from them when they being controlled by the Y fronts their mummies give them to wear!

Read a book, go out with the girls, feed a duck...get a kitten. Everyone loves kittens!

@ stone cold - hahaha I love the first paragraph but you know I think maybe there just immature and they act persistent because they don’t like having their ego bruised. Believe it or not one guy actually said to me “Why won’t you go out with me? No one says no to me”. I haven’t fed ducks in ages lol I might actually do that today since I’m gonna go out anyways. As for a kitten I’m gonna steal one of my cousins when her cat gives birth.
