Advice for getting over my ex?

Re: Advice for getting over my ex?

Well your wearing makeup. In that case, the hijab then serves a different purpose then it normally would.

Re: Advice for getting over my ex?

A different purpose?

Re: Advice for getting over my ex?

why do i sense of a slate of hijabans in make up threads about to pop up now :bummer:

Re: Advice for getting over my ex?

Yes. To highlight your attractiveness and desirability rather then take it away.

Yes, the hijab means your a good girl. The make-up means your on the market. Combination? A good girl gone bad, something many men find really hot.

Chalo, Slimy ka Magic 8 Bal kuch tho kaam aiyaa :khumar:

Re: Advice for getting over my ex?

:hmmm:I guess I was wrong in assuming that the hijab and my *****y/sarcastic personality would keep them away.:konfused:

Re: Advice for getting over my ex?

It you want to keep boys away, stop wearing hijab, and cut your hair extremely short. No-one will dare approach you. :biggthumb:

Re: Advice for getting over my ex?

Sorry I had to have a look at your picture on your profile just because it was mentioned here and I couldn’t help it.

Anyways, back to your problem.

You’re young and pretty naive. You need to stop all this dating business and some members here need to stop encouraging you because although their posts may be sarcastic, I have a feeling you’re pretty naive and will take this advice seriously and continue on this path of destruction.

There’s a reason why Islam forbids dating, and one of them is that these relationships are almost always temporary and that leads to hurt at the end - something which you should be protected from - why do you want the headache?

You should busy yourself with studies because that will be the only thing at the end which you will have - when all these boys have disappeared. I say replace the men with books because that will satisfy you more in the long run. :flowers:

Re: Advice for getting over my ex?

Please listen to Disney Princess. She is not naive. Her nick says it all.

And when DP says replace the boys with books, she really means titles like Dating for Dummies, How to Catch your Man and Keep Him, Walk Down that Aisle in 90 Days, and Bahishti Zevar on Bedroom Basics.

Name? :hmmm:

Re: Advice for getting over my ex?

Zara if you choose to date, your going to need more practice asking men out.

I suggest for tomorrow, approach a brother you find nice and ask him if he wants to go get a cup of coffee with you.

You do that, k? and tell us everything later! :biggthumb:

Re: Advice for getting over my ex?

time heals every thing. trust me on that one. 2-3 years down the road you are going to remember the relationship, how you came to gupshup and posted stuff- and guess what you will be laughing at how naive you were. time does that.

and you are just 19, you have so many more years to look for guys. take it slow. find someone in college, im sure your parents will find someone for you too :)

all the bestz1

Re: Advice for getting over my ex?

I'd say - focus on studying for now.

Re: Advice for getting over my ex?

I have been where you are. And I know how tough it is. But trust me when I say this, better to end this way than other ways I can think of. This way its easier to get over him.
You're very young. Just busy yourself with activities, hang out with friends. Focus your life on things you werent whilst you were with him (I'm pretty sure there are many things in that list). Spend time with family. Discover a new hobby. Pick up a book. The Wheel of Time series is great and really addictive. I know these may sound like lame ways. But they are the best.

All the best to you.
