There is no such thing as having low self esteem in women. Same situation applies to single men doing activities alone or with a group of people not really attached to the person.
One can go around and have a city tour with a bus full of people, that still makes the person ‘lonley’ and bored. The person may ask any other person to take his or her smiley picture, or spend short time with this person on this tour, the person will still at the end of day will come back to his or her place of residence alone.
Travelling alone is fun for many men( not all men) but not really for women.
I think in reality, women feel more depressed being alone even on an exotic trip than men. In fact, for both men and women, more exotic the place, more bored/depressed they will be.
Men care less (not always) for being alone than women.
And about dating, men still have more freedom to go out and date than women. Even in free world, women wait for men to make a move and if he does not, she can’t do anything about it!!! Just being realistic here.
And I never said you have more issues than you have. I only meant to say women have more issues than men.
Umm have 2-3 kids & you will cherish the time you have to spend ALONE, no spouse/no kids/no family/no friends…you love your kids & family but you need to get out alone as well.
