alright guys lolz, i forgot i even ever made this thread but yea. seems like i was not the only one suffering bad acne. but guess what u guys? MY ACNE IS 90% gone! yes it is!!! im soooooo glad. and now im waiting for my acne scars to fade away. so yea after all those medicated soaps and stuff that never worked, my bhabi gave me this facial soap and i swear to god it worked MAGIC! its called zapzyt. you can find it over the counter at walgreens i believe. it has 2% salicylic acid, aloe vera, and chamomile. The first the thre days i used it my skin felt like hell!!! more acne devoloped, but after 3-4 days, all the it was just the big pimples left, my skin started feeling smoother, blackheads were gone(THE MAIN REASON FOR MY ACNE) and then in about a week all the big pimples were gone. i still use it twice a day. its slowly starting to fade away my scars as well, and doesnt leave my skin too dry. i swear this 7 dollar thing saved my bigtime! immmm sooooo happy i finally got something that works for my horrible acne. so yea i do recommend you guys all give it a shot for ZAPZYT!
other then that try using mineral makeup, and wash your face 3-5 times a day if ur acne is really bad. avoid using old makeup.
i changed my derm and got fusidic acid cream and HQ as prescription and antibiotics course!!
trust me its been quite some time since i didnt develop any pimples lyk the big ones...
and the frequency of the little ones also reduced in the second week
I thought I'd do an update.
My acne is finally under control Alhamdullillah! At my last visit to my derm in Ramadan, he said he'd tried every medicine and there was nothing else he could do so he gave me Duac gel and said to apply it whenever I got a pimple and it would heal quickly with minimal scarring. So I've been using that daily since then plus the hydroquinone cream at night. Then someone advised Noxema facewash and toner and I've been using them too and it all seems to have done the trick! I have no active pimples. Just a few under-the-skin bumps and of course the scars from before :(
I couldn't do the Zinc and B3 thing because I couldn't find an only Zinc supplement. The multivitamins I take have Zinc, but in low amounts. So I don't know if they would've worked for me.
