Cannot go to Dubai , to join Iftar with Dubai Guppies and have no Urge to arrange in Abu Dhabi.

Let us see how many we are there?

Depends on who’s driving. For normal people like myself it takes around 1 1/2 hours from Dubai to Abu Dhabi. For those lunatics that I often see on the road, it probably takes 45 minutes.

I guess my dad would be a lunatic then. We reach AUH in one hour. He drives at 159 km/hr and sometimes even more when the cameras are not around. Ahem cough. We have gotten so many speed tickets on the road to AUH.

Btw you guys are not that becharey. You AUH people. It takes just one hour to come to Dubai by car and MOE is not even that far in the city. It's in new Dubai not in the old Dubai areas and still you guys are hesitating. Sighzzz !

One of My Office Collegue got Parking Ticket
She were paying that online so checked on the site , there she found that the actuall penality was worth AED 3,400.

As it was not only Parking Ticket , but many Speed exceeding tickets.

By the way in My one and Half years driving for about 60,000 kilo meters
Al Humdu lillah I have received no Tickets till date.

a) whats the significance of 159 and

b) why not higher/lower? is it due to metric system of 160km = 100mph ?
