Re: Abu Bakr
lame...
may Allah demolish those who try to defame the most beloved companions of the Prophet (saw)....
about whom the Prophet (saw), if the faith of all of my Ummah was put on one side of a balance and the faith of Abu Bakr (ra) on the other side, even then the side of Abu Bakr (ra) will be heavier....
and that Ummah includes Umar (ra) and Uthman (ra) and Ali (ra) and Fatima (ra) and many many more....
Re: Abu Bakr
^Agreed. It's just another creative way to put yet another wedge between the already divided ummah.
The facts maybe as they are, but context can/usually is manipulated. May Allah guide us all towards the true Islam as it's meant to be and unite us as an Ummah once again. All in one.
Re: Abu Bakr
This website i got in email 5 times
so was just wondering what everyone says about it
its quiet surprising for me to see that website
Re: Abu Bakr
most likely this website was created by mustashriqeen e islaam ... i.e. those who study islaam to defame it .. they have no religion .. they dont fall in any catagory not even atheists ... ha
and ........ i ve personally studied and still a student of islam at the moment ....believe that incidents may have occured in as its described but the meaning taken from them is totally rubbish .......... therefore .. the website is a load of junk.... and extremely missguiding ........
like member said above that ... the Prophet SAW said .. if the good deeds of my ummah put to one side and Abu Bakrs another .. the deeds of Abu Bakr wud still be greater .....
a incident where Prophet SAW asked for help in a particular war ... and Abu Bakr bought all the things from his house and presented em to the Prophet SAW ... and the gawn he (Abu Bakr) was wearing he even presented that and instead he wrapped a single sheet around himself and tied it using Kaantey ... and at tht moment Angel Gibraaeel AS came and informed that Allah is extremely pleased with Abu Bakr and that all the Angels are wearing what Abu Bakr is wearing .. So imagine how much status has Abu Bakr has ...
Not forgetting he was the first to embrace islam ..from the men ......
its just so sad to see ..even be it by name muslims to defame the sahabah in any form or shape ... because .. the deen/ religion we have today ... a divine religion ..sent to Prophet saw .. is only because of These people .. i.e. the companions of the Prophet ... and if anyone defames them .. then a person shud think to themself as to what kind of muslim we are .. where we cant even accept / follow the companions .. instead defame em ...let alone the prophet SAW ....
In a Hadith of the Prophet SAW ... he said ''Ashaabi ka al Nujoom'' meaning my companions are like stars .. elaborating ... which ever companion you follow .. you will be guided and wont fall in any trouble ..so long as you follow em..... and isnt ABu Bakr RA a companion even on Hijrat night ..he was along side the Prophet .. first to accept islam etc etc ....and if a person defames a companion of such high Calibre .. the WHAT GUIDENCE ARE WE / ANY MUSLIM gona have ... and where does that lead us .....
Re: Abu Bakr
WaSalaam Zara,
Thanks for sharing such an informative website with us. It amazing how people are cursing the person who created the site eventhough most of the stuff the site was quoted from Sahih books and also qouted some scholars. I believe to read some sites one needs to read from an open minded end… because truth can be bitter but one can’t close their eyes from it.. As muslims we all believe whatever Prophet PBUH says is through Allah’s will… so we should not curse someone for pointing out the hadith of Prophet P.B.U.H. because they can serve as an eye opener… we need to put the emotions aside and think logically… I personally found this site very informative and I’ll tell you why… and I would advice people who read my response from an open mind putting aside all their emotions…
Lets start my first by answering the question… if the issue of Khilafat was so important for some people than attending the funeral services of Prophet P.B.U.H. then did Prophet made any indications for it… and if we look at it following is the hadith of Prophet P.B.U.H.
“For whoever I am his Leader (mawla), 'Ali is his Leader (mawla).”
www.al-islam.org\ghadir
Besides the hadith mentioned above there is another hadith of Prophet P.B.U.H.which is narrated in Sahih Muslim
“Zayd said: ‘O brother, by God, I have become aged and old and I have forgotten some of what I used to remember from the Messenger of Allah , upon whom be Allah’s peace and benedictions. So accept what I narrate to you and as to what I don’t, trouble me not regarding it.’ Then he said: ‘One day the Messenger of Allah , upon whom be Allah’s peace and benedictions, addressed us near a pond called Khumm between Makkah and Madinah. He praised God and extolled Him and preached and reminded (us). Then he said, “Lo, O people, I am only a human being and I am about to respond to the messenger of my Lord *. I am leaving behind two precious things (thaqalayn) among you. The first of the two is the Book of Allah. In it is guidance and light. So get hold of the Book of Allah and adhere to it.” Then he urged and motivated (us) regarding the Book of Allah . Then he said, “And my Ahl alBayt (family). I urge you to remember God regarding my Ahl alBayt. I urge you to remember God regarding my Ahl alBayt. I urge you to remember God regarding my Ahl alBayt”’” …
(Sahih Muslim, part 7, Kitab fada’il alSahabah [Maktabat wa Matbaat Muhammad Ali Subayh wa Awladuhu: Cairo] pp. 122-123.)
http://www.al-islam.org/thaqalayn/nontl/index.htm
If we try to look in the light of history, Ahleybait has always been there to defend islam… when it got to a point where all the khalifas used to have the title of Ameer ul Momineen… Imam Hussain was the one who stood against Yazeed when he became khaleefa, not only did he presented his life but also his family and what yazeed did with the grand daughters of Propeht is an eye opener for us what a bad khaleefa he was… not only that Imam Hanafia was also a student of Imam Jaffar Sadiq A.S, who happens to be a grandson of Imam Hussain… it suprises me that people would take him as the imam but not his teacher who happens to be the 6th of 12 shia imams, suprisingly there is a hadith on the site that calls for 12 imams… Infact Imam Mahdi A.S..who everybody has been waiting for is going to be from Ahleybait… Similarly the website also has indication where Bibi Fatima Zehra S.A. stood
against Abu Bakr when Abu Bakr took fidaq which was given to her by Prophet P.B.U.H… and in response there were ayats in quran which talks about Prophets leaving inheritance… Since Prophet P.B.U.H does everything that is accoring to Allah SWT will he fact that he gave the hadith about whoever hurts Fatima S.A. hurted… is a guidance for us … it shows who followed quran and was righteous…
Some of the sects follow a similar hadith which talks about Quran and sunnah… when I try to interpret this hadith following are some questions that raised in my mind…
By no means do I want to offend any one… All I am doing is trying to present my view on the topic…
May Allah help us follow the right path… Ameen*
Re: Abu Bakr
the Prophet (saw) said that all doors of jannah shall be opened for Abu Bakr (ra) so he may enter it from whichever door he wishes....
and some people wish to defame such a person.... what else can u do but question the correctness of their minds....
Re: Abu Bakr
Its a very lame effort of defaming a noble Muslim ! Insallah Abu bakr ( R.A) will enter Jaanah for his good deeds , Allah’s messenger Muhammad (P.B.U.H) was happy with him all of his life . No history books has ever reported any rupture between both noble personalities of Islam .
Abu Bakr ( R.A) was the one of the finest Muslim , Ummah has ever seen and believe me its coming from mouth of a guy who was shia for a good chunk of his life and has even read Alkafi , AlIstibsaar , AlTahzeeb , Mun La YahDuruHu Alfaqeeh .
May Allah gives all of us hadith to follow such noble muslims . Ameen
Re: Abu Bakr
As a shia, I am not suppose to pretend and say that Abu Bakr was a pious sahaba. I feel totally indifferent to him.
.

may i ask why u took up sunni islam?
Re: Abu Bakr
Coming from a family where my ancestors once where Shia and turned Sunnis. I have most to speak on this very issue. It is just so sad to see us split on such propagate content, although we all believe in the same God the same Prophet(s) and the same companions. Some more and some less. Unity has never been our strength, but I do hope one day we will unite....I pray for that day.
Re: Abu Bakr
Its between Allah :swt: and Abu Bakr (ra) and Fatima (a). Who are we to judge if they were angry with each other? I am sure we will not be granted Jannah if we find out/figure out if Fatima (a) was angry with Abu Bakr (ra) or not.
Go pray and ask for forgiveness and try to work hard on how to enter Jannah…thats all matter. ![]()
Re: Abu Bakr
JazakAllah alot for pointing this out .. in more to the point option .. where we wont be asked about such things … which are between The prophet SAW, Allah swt, Fatimah and Amubak RAm. … its what i said also …
May Allah giv us the taufeeq and understanding to understand this one concept …and alo a hadith of the prophet SAW …
‘‘Min Husne Islaam il Mar’e Taku hu Maa laa Ya’nee’’ .Translates as … the beauty of a Islam and a Lesson for Muslims is clear and visible .. that they LEAVE which does NOT concern them …‘’
^ Essays, books upon books have been written on this hadith .. and i ve personally read the issue of Abu Bakr and Fatimag for examle … that this also falls under this hadith …
Another simple point i want to make … If the companions at the time of this particular issue regarding land …did not speak out as to why the Prophets dont leave inheritance .. then Who the hell are we to bring up such issues and question the Noble personalities … of these companions, as to what and why they made such decisions …
May Allah forgive me / all … and guide us on to the straight path and those who are on this path ..May Allah give us the ability and strength to stay firm on this path … (Aameen)
Re: Abu Bakr
there is a lot of spicing up of historical events by both shia & sunni traditionalists and ahadeeth....more reliable are historical accounts esp. the ones by earlier historians on whom all subsequent scholars have relied on ....in them the degree of animosity between the early caliphs is not as marked as it appears to be in many later reports which were fabricated for sectarian reasons
Re: Abu Bakr

I just follow Islam which is neither sunni nor shia !

Very well said :). But I'd like to ask you what is ur opinion on kuffars like muawiyah and yazid?

This thread should be closed, it really serves no purpose, educational or spiritual.

First of all , I have no authority of issuing kufar fatwas against any Muslim as you have bluntly done . Neither I nor any of us is liable for the deeds of ummah gone before us . I highly respect Hazrat Ameer Mawiya (R.A) for his good deeds same as The Zaydi Sect of Shi'ism considers both Abu Bakr and Umar as righteous companions. Well about Yazid , I think majority of Ulmaa has same views . Just follow the majority in his case . These are my personal views , I know you aint interested in Ibn Kathir and Ibn Timiya ‘s views .
Matey bhoy there is no point arguing on history written hundred of years ago . Let us take an example of Hazrat Umar ibn al-Khattāb ( R.A). Whether you call him righteous or Oppressor/ martinet . Islamic history has recorded him Second caliph of Ummah and majority of ummah had no objection on his selection as Ameer-ul-Momenin . Even it is reported in Bhukari but still disputed whether Umar was the man who caused the death of Bibi Fatima Zahra and her unborn child Muhsin.
In a nutshell we just like or dislike these historical characters on the basis of stories or version of history we read about them. Thousand of intellectuals have finished their life arguing and debating these incidents , thousand of books are written , if you start reading them u may not finish them all in this given life.
In a pesky era like ours .One should care about his/her deeds more than anything.
P.S: Mods kindly edit the topic and add R. A in fornt of Hazrat Abu Bakr's name !
