Abu Bakr

Re: Abu Bakr

Well if you consider his good deeds to be start fights against Hazrat Ali (A.S.) or denying his caliphate as the righteous and true ameer ul momeenin then you are welcome to it.

I as a shia can overlook the negativities of abu bakr, umar, and usman that the shia school of thought has for them; but for any person to start wars against the ahle -e-bait is unforgivable.

Thus, the divide unfortunately will continue till the end of times.

Re: Abu Bakr

Peace All

I like the four w's at the end in the link and the fact that someone who doesn't even like Abu Bakr As-Siddique (RA) has bought a domain name in his namesake as a guise to lead people towards their point of view ... Is that 'the truth'?

May Allah (SWT) shower blessings on the family of the prophet Muhammad (SAW) and his companions.

Re: Abu Bakr

Anil khan . Well mate , I respect them as i have read my Master Ali ibn Talib ( R.A) used to do the same . You cant quote a single incident where he has done same (taubra) as you did in your post .

Yes indeed , the divide will unfortunately continue till the end of times because we Muslims aint willing to fill this gap .

Re: Abu Bakr

So brother Aliyish, are you saying Mawla Ali (a.s.) had respect for muawiyah when he was waging war against him?

Re: Abu Bakr

I was referring to first three righteous caliphs

Re: Abu Bakr

Ah ok. I agree that Mawla Ali (a.s.) had respect for these three; but this is more a reflection on Mawla Ali’s greatness because he knew who the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) wanted to lead his ummah upon his passing yet he stayed quiet so there would be no divide amongst the ummah and thus he respected them.
And like I said, I’m willing to overlook (and thus appreciate) the first three caliphs but we (and more generally shias and sunnis) are at an impasse when it comes to muawiyah.

Khair, nice to talk about these issues without getting too rough or emotional. Good job by you and God bless :k:.

Re: Abu Bakr

In reply u may come up with Sermon of ash-Shiqshiqiyyah recorded in Nahjulbalagha in which Hazrat Ali ( R.A ) is reported saying :

About Hazrat Abu bakr ( R.A)

Beware! By Allah the son of Abu Quhafah (Abu Bakr)(2) dressed himself with it (the caliphate) and he certainly knew that my position in relation to it was the same as the position of the axis in relation to the hand-mill. The flood water flows down from me and the bird cannot fly upto me.

and About Hazrat Umar ( R.A) he said

I* watched the plundering of my inheritance till the first one went his way but handed over the Caliphate to Ibn al-Khattab after himself*.

Then again we can argue for hours on the issue whether Nahjulbalagha was actually written by Hazrat Ali or not .

Re: Abu Bakr

Pleasure is all mine bruv .

Re: Abu Bakr

Now read this story with open mind brother Anil Khan and you will see many flaws and disfigurement in it

http://www.ezsoftech.com/stories/narjis.asp

Let me just quote one :

I saw Prophet Mohammad (SAW), his son-in-law and Imam Ali Al-Mortadha (as) with eleven of his sons entering the place. Jesus (as) advanced to receive them and embraced Prophet Mohammad (SAW). Prophet Mohammad (SAW) said to Jesus: "O’ spirit of God, I came to you to betroth and engage your disciple Shimeon’s daughter Malika to this son of mine, pointing out to Imam Hassan Askari (as), and the writer of this letter." Jesus (as) looked at Shimeon and said: “Honor has marched towards you. Relate your kin to the kinship of the progeny of Prophet Mohammad (SAW).” Shimeon replied: “I did”. Then Prophet Mohammad (SAW) ascended the tribune and gave an eloquent speech and conducted my marriage ceremony to his son. Jesus (as) bore witness as well as Prophet Mohammad (SAW) and the present disciples of Jesus (as).

My argument is : what would Prophet Mohammad (SAW) called Hazrat Issa O’ spirit of God . isn’t it some Christian concept ?

Re: Abu Bakr

Theres a lot of reading there and I’ll be sure to get to it in a few days (after finals are done); but i’m not sure what this is? who wrote these stories?
