Pakistan is quite open. I often discover new things all the time. Makes me think it has to do with our families and how we were raised if cohabitation is considered “liberal”. Vaneeza Ahmed and Ali Azmat lived together for years (he even said “she will never crawl back into my bed!” to a magazine after they broke up implying they obviously had sex) and no, they weren’t even engaged yet. And then there was Amina Haq and Ammar Belal, both lived together until they got married for at least 6+ years. It happens.

Maybe in the 1% of the population, and in that case it probably has happened in the past as well.
