I agree Benazir is a courageous leader. It took great courage for her to leave Pakistan willingly in April 1999, and then jet between Dubai, London and Washington but never come back to Pakistan in all those years. :)
Just saw pictures of her and that military stooge Chadhury Shujaat sitting on the same sofa at that Walima in Dubai yesterday, and then exchange pleasantries and more later. How brave of her. I will post pics when I get them. :D

It's reassuring to see jiyalas still blindingly supporting the criminal incompetence and corruption of BB. Don't disparage the military, they saved Pakistan from Indian hegemony in the region. Had it been left to Bhuttos, Pakistanis would be carrying Indian passports.
Too bad traitors of Pakistan would support a criminal like Benazir rather their true defenders.

I am not saying that the politicians were innocent, all of them including Bhutto were guilty but the primary responsibility was of the military who were ruling the country to hand power over to the elected representatives and back them. That they did not do that is the fundamental reason for the break up of the country and they have to take the blame. Secondly how naive it is to say that a politician stood up in a public meeting and said idhar hum udhar tum and the country broke up. The underlying problems were much deeper than just a few words uttered by Bhutto.

Bhutto's quote may be a sound bite but it does indicate his unwillingness to work with Mujeeb. He was not conciliatory towards Awami League and it's naive to deny that.
On one hand Bhutto was a great politician of high caliber and on other hand he was the army's puppet? Some politician.
