Shweets, I totally agree with you; they are not worth it. But what makes it a threadworthy topic, IMO, is that the practice has become more of a rule than an exception. I am noticing a widespread trend which is slowly becoming-- or has already become-- a norm.
I am alarmed because i have yet to find a girl in the greater tri-state area whose family thinks like the way I do.
