ABCD Pakistanis in love with India - I just don't get it.

Re: ABCD Pakistanis in love with India - I just don't get it.

yes, yes and yes.

Re: ABCD Pakistanis in love with India - I just don’t get it.

good one.

Re: ABCD Pakistanis in love with India - I just don't get it.

Its a bitter truth..and I agree with you. But its not GS only. This is basically a general trend of hatching conspiracies and not to accept the fact.
Majority of Pakistanis still dont believe that OBL lived in abbotabad at all or any such operation occured. They still dont think ajmal kasab was Pakistani and so on & so forth.

But why blame Pakistanis, the conspiracies are on its peak in India as well. Atleast some of us Pakistanis acknowledge the problem within ourselves, you wont even find a hint of it in Indians. So its a general mentality and its prevailed on both sides across the border.

Re: ABCD Pakistanis in love with India - I just don't get it.

A hint? How would you know? Another generalisation? As per you, some pakistanis acknowledge the problems. Similarly, maybe some Indians do too.

Re: ABCD Pakistanis in love with India - I just don't get it.

Yes, not even a hint. On media/social media anywhere else. It doesnt exist, Na Da, Khallas.

Now remember we have to get a probability while running the stats. So you may find 1 or 2 examples but that wont count against millions of others blaming Pakistan for every sneeze they get. Its a fact not a mere judgement.

Re: ABCD Pakistanis in love with India - I just don’t get it.

Well, if you’re set to believe it as a fact, I’ll leave you to it. :hat:

Re: ABCD Pakistanis in love with India - I just don’t get it.

No i’m open to discussion with logics and examples, as always. If you have a counter opinion please do say so.

Re: ABCD Pakistanis in love with India - I just don't get it.

You didn't bring up examples. I have Indians on my FB (social media) friendlist and yes some of them acknowledge the issues they have. But then, this is simply my word against yours. No proofs. So it doesn't hold good in a forum discussion.

Re: ABCD Pakistanis in love with India - I just don't get it.

:) How many examples you want? Give a reasonable number. Which source you want from? FB, twitter etc? I'll provide you that no worry but will you be convinced then? ;)

Re: ABCD Pakistanis in love with India - I just don't get it.

This thread started with some discriminatory term now turned into a quarrel. I don't think we should use any such terms which hurt somebody. I see many people use such terms to over shadow others views and the other one either hasitate to speak mind or get too personal to discuss the issue constructively. Some went on to say that since you are not here so you don't know ( means you can't express your openion/views) Make this forum a good plateform for healthy discussion, debate, constructive criticism. Let others speak their mind so that we may see different views on the topics in threads. Let's not use such terms.

Re: ABCD Pakistanis in love with India - I just don't get it.

How can some negatives you choose off the internet convince me when some of the people I know personally acknowledge the problem? I do believe that the entire nation isn't acknowledging the problem. But, to say, you won't find a hint of it among Indians is not something I'd believe. Regardless of the amount of examples you give because what I see and experience myself has far more credibility in my eyes.

Re: ABCD Pakistanis in love with India - I just don't get it.

I can't speak for American born Pakistanis, but honestly, not all (not even the majority) of Western born Pakistanis have chip on the shoulder mentality in regards to Pakistan or Pakistani. They don't hold any spiteful and bigoted comments for Pakistanis - nor they are the first one to jump on the bandwagon to thrash those people's culture, lifestyle, pride, dignity and sense of identity as some kind of 'revenge seeking' exercise.

If anything, most Western born Pakistanis hold utmost sympathy and well wishes for the country because part of their identity is linked with that region, and it is a general rule of thumb - whatever they say for Pakistanis, is exactly the same thing white supremacists say to them.

So I really don't want people not to generalise on all Western born Pakistanis due to some bad examples you may see online or in real life. You would be surprised that how so many of Western born Pakistanis are so comfortable in their skin, so self assured and self confident of their identity that this petty banter hardly ever hits a thinly sliced nerve. Good luck riling them with such childish terms. Again, not talking about the "ABCDs".

Re: ABCD Pakistanis in love with India - I just don't get it.

This group is usually made up of third, fourth or even fifth generation Pakistanis. They shouldn't really be expected to give a damn about Pakistan as they have far bigger role play in their own communities. and with third or fourth generation, only so much of patriotism could be passed down. Their lack of interest in Pakistan should not be confused for antipathy, any kind of complex and spitefulness. I know many such British Born Pakistanis who admittedly lack knowledge and interest in Pakistani affairs and the country itself for all sorts of reasons, but they are not the types to 'hate it' to prove a point. They generally aren't the types to get involved in rubbish like that (as long as you don't ask them to marry their cousin from 'back home' lol'..j.k).

Re: ABCD Pakistanis in love with India - I just don't get it.

Yes sister ... It is your opinion that it is my opinion ... and it is your opinion that I state everything as if it's a universal fact. But jokes aside ... It is my opinion and not necessarily a fact - let's call it a hypothesis.

Re: ABCD Pakistanis in love with India - I just don't get it.

ITT: Generalization galore.

Re: ABCD Pakistanis in love with India - I just don't get it.

'I am better than you because I was born in XYZ country'.

replace XYZ with UK, USA, Canada or Pakistan.
