The family could have been offered an option to go through with the story and in return they could be free and in their own countries.

Pakistan did not detect the helicopters, it did not launch its fighters in the air in time, it did not pursue the helicopters, the army and local police did not arrive at the compound, there was a power blackout in the whole area at the time of the incident so there could well be collusion between US and the top leadership of Pakistan i.e Zardari and Kiyani. People like Pakistani ambassador to UK did make statements that Pakistani leadership knew of the raid in advance.

Also this Afridi DNA story seems to be a red herring.

@Arshad5.. too much wild imagination. Why would Pakistani army and political leadership go to such an extreme to embarrass themselves. First you were suspecting conspiracy by Americans and now you suspect the whole Pakistani army and political leadership is a part of this conspiracy. Can you imagine the consequences for Obama if he made such a plan in which he presumed that Pakistani army, President, and Osama’s family will become a part of this conspiracy.. and he gambled his whole political future and career on these assumptions that nothing will ever leak out.. If Obama took such a risk like as are suggesting.. I think he will be exposed sooner or later as such a thing can not hide forever. I don’t consider Obama to be such a dumb person..
