Aap / KBC & KBC2 channels

Probably still helping AAP Tv for their uplink or thinking of another excuse.

Looks like AapTv are back on air on Monday Morning:

Welcome to Biz Asia - the UK’s only Asian media news website

yeah it’s back.

Mr Abrar may also return also.

Shabbir Mogul has left the rubbish DM and joined KBC.

One of the programmes he presents is called 'Aapna Walayat' along with Yaqoob Nizami. There is another ex DM lady presenter and can't remeber her name who also appears on KBC. Whats her name Mr Abrar?

Yaqoob Nizami is a very good writer and has written a number of books. I have got one of his books in Urdu called 'Mera Englistan Mera Englistan' - about the history of early generation immigrants who arrived in the UK especially Bradford. Really good book and well worth a read.

Did any one see the programme about the hospital in Dadyal on AAP TV? Did any one notice how un-professional and rude the presenter was when he was talking to the sweeper in the hospital?

The hospital being investigated in the programme was founded by Chodhary Zaman (sitare khdimat) who also was the founder of the Birmingham Central Mosque on Belgravge Rd.

Whats happening on AAP Tv with programmes being broadcasted for Hidayat TV?

Mr Abrar any details relating to this?

I knew it both the AAP and KBC channels would't last.

AAP has gone for good and KBC has followed it since.

Where is Mr Abrar?

why dont these channels just admit that they are going to cease broadcasting instead of making excuses. the most common excuse is technical problems, this is what kbc said on its website and this the excuse used by aap and aapna.
take example from zee gujarati and zee radio on sky, they announced that these channels would cease broadcasting.
anyway where is mr abrar gone??

Bro totally agree.

Yeah I wonder where Mr Abrar is these days.

I won't be surprised if someone else starts a similar channel with a different name which than stop broadcasting.

I can confidently can assume that KBC is history.

It doesn't take this long for a channel to sort out technical problem.

Re: Aap / KBC & KBC2 channels

And the KBC 'spokesman' on here seems to have done the same as Abrar, dissappeared.

KBC is backon air on channel 836.

Any guess how long will it last this time?

Mr Abrar should hopefully appear and tell us the reasons why the channel disappeared.

Kashmiri infotainment channel KBC (Kashmir Broadcasting Corporation), has fallen victim of the economic downturn by announcing the closure of its operations.
The free-to-air service, which has been available on the Sky Digital platform since August last year, will cease broadcasting on Friday 31st July. Presenters have been informing viewers about the news since the weekend.
For the past few weeks, KBC had been requesting viewers to donate to keep the channel on-air.
KBC is owned by the Birmingham based Afsar Group. When the channel was added to the Sky EPG, it was the first broadcaster to simultaneously launch a secondary channel. However, weeks later, the “timeshift” planned channel’s EPG was sold to another company.
Previously other channels in the Kashmiri UK space have resulted in failures, namely Aap TV and Aapna Channel.
According to sources, KBC has sold its EPG slot (836) to a new Kashmiri broadcaster. BizAsia.co.uk made several attempts to contact KBC for more information but was unsuccessful at the time of filing this article.

Re: Aap / KBC & KBC2 channels

And who is this 'new' kashmiri broadcaster?

Mr Najib, The chairman on KBC .. must be a biggest fool in outside Kashmir!

why do all that hard work to only fail!

I was told that Aapna fell apart due to this fool wanting to take control, hence the likes of Shamas and Hafeez going to Najib Afsar and causing all sorts of issues!

Well aleast we can put a face to the name!!!!!!

Re: Aap / KBC & KBC2 channels

KBC was sponsoring the Birmingham mela. One of the presenters from kbc Atif came on stage, he said kbc is moving its studios to Birmingham and would be back on air in 2 months. Lets wait and see....

That makes no sense!

as 1stly they had been asking for the public to pay.

2ndly if you go off air you tend to loose your Sky EPG.

3rd, They confirm they have sold to another Kashmiri group (no doubt they will follow Aapna, AapTv and KBC)

2 months I think not

Anyway Mr Najib is a millionaire with his huge empire... it comes down to him been an idiot (i.e. no knowlegde of media)

If anyone from KBC is reading this, Please ask Najib Saab to stick to selling his fruit and veg. This man is nothing but a Box shifter!

all he's done is Bring more shame and embarassment onto Kashmiri's in the UK

Anyway the same happened with DDRayat in 2008, the channel was only around for a short term then went under due to Mr rayat thinking he was a media mogul, what a Prize plank... he lost over 2million pounds!

Live broadcasting was aired on 8th July 2009 by Najib Afsar who stated the reason for taking strategic retreat to re-group and organized KBC and re-locates the future studio in Birmingham; he further went on to say that he needed to organize new sales and marketing team who would be sincere with KBC.
We will upload the broadcast of 8th July 2009 on our website soon.
KBC will be back on air soon from Birmingham; meanwhile KBC will continue to broadcast online. KBC Channel. Live or www.kbcchannel.tv

KBC delivered programmers including highlighting the issue of Jammu Kashmir very effectively, although Najib Afsar not being from media background, but he has proved his professionalism and stirred KBC as first ever international Kashmiri institution with KBC footprints around the globe.

Once KBC is back on air, all facts surrounding the strategic retreat will be broadcasted.
