Aap / KBC & KBC2 channels

What I don't get is that, calling a channel 'Kashmir Broadcasting Corp' and associating the word 'Kashmir' to it, as much as they possibly can, then showing all programs about Jammu, and in languages that mostly only the people of Jammu understand.

I was watching one of the few programs which was being broadcast in urdu in which a KBC host was asking a JKLF member to explain to the audience the concept of Kashmiriyat, I was shocked at how the JKLF dude had totally corrupted the true meaning of Kashmiriyat to suit his organisations political agenda.

Also, I'd just like to say the country called Jammu & Kashmir was called that in recognition of the TWO major linguistic groups that resided in the country, Jammu being the Indic speaking people, and Kashmir being the Dardic speaking people.

In order for this channel to justify its name, it should start broadcasting at least some shows in Koshur, Shina, and if wants to truly raise awareness of kashmiriyat, Ladhaki and Burushaski too.

At the moment its just Jammu Broadcasting Corp...

Do you know anyone who speaks these langauges? and also want to present? then tell them to contact KBC.

May be he should contact you being the channels rep?

Re: Aap / KBC & KBC2 channels

I haven't seen the new KBC channels yet, but I do remember aapna channel doing some shows in Koshur.

Why would there be a need for someone to contact KBC about anyone speaking various Kashmiri langguages.

Surely, KBC should have done its own reserach and looked ino this area and should have programmes in these languages.

Mr Abrar, It's been two weeks yet no news of AapTV, what's going on?

I was right about AapTV wanting too sell up?

I saw the Tahir guy (Gamdaan/bubblie) anchor on KBC....does that mean Aap is finished?

Also the guys of Sham rang ...they did a promo on Aaptv a couple of weeks later there doing a live show on KBC.

AAPTV is finished!!!!!

Yes you are right bro - AAP TV's honey moon period is over.

People like Mr Abrar will never admitt it and they will never tell the truth and hide the facts.

Yes, saw that gezar from Gamdad on KBC - he is a crap actor and presenter.

If AAP TV has gone - whats Bava Ditta going to do?

I here Bava Ditta is in Pakistan.......his visa had expired, Home office won't let him back in!

He was supposed to be with AAP TV - with them gone, he will need a new sponsor I suppose to come back.

Mr Abrar will KBC Sponser him?

:rotfl:

It seems to be that Mr Abrar has also disappeared.

"What I don't get is that, calling a channel 'Kashmir Broadcasting Corp' and associating the word 'Kashmir' to it, as much as they possibly can, then showing all programs about Jammu, and in languages that mostly only the people of Jammu understand"

What you have to understand is that just because it is called kashmir broadcasting company it doesnt mean that it is only aimed at a kashmri audience... they have a wider audience thats obvious as they had that sshow today with kids on it ... also sometimes they have cacausian folk on it... look at the bbc they have american programs on like films and music and stuff.

KBC intend to broadcast programmes in all languages of Jammu Kashmir including South Asia, but one need to be patient as these programmes are not on shelves of any supermarket, we are addressing the same and hopefully soon you will see the changes at KBC, firstly it has to be understood that we are only 2 months old, yet we have improved our programming much better then other channel who have been on air for years.

KBC welcome any suggestions, comments, as for KBC2 is concerned, yes we have leased the same for economic reason and this was decided at the time of purchase, KBC took over the assets of a teleshopping channel which went bust and two channel came as part of the deal, and it is KBC intention to concentrate on one channel before addressing the second and trust that everyone on this forum will lend hand to KBC and provide positive suggestion.

As for the villages are concern, we have in pipeline to have voice-over of the history of these villages and place's in order that viewers can understand better, again allow us time to make every thing perfect and this can only happen with support of all.

regards

We can confidentally state that AAP TV is history and won't be coming back. The reason I am stating this is that the legal progammes presented by two gezars from 'Insaaf Solicitors' was being shown on KBC. They were part of the AAP team and have moved on to KBC.

So Mr Abrar what is your excuse this time regarding Insaaf solicitors legal programme moving from AAP TV to KBC?

Mr Abrar is helping Aap to uplink from Mars, thats why its taking so long. hehe.

:D
