Re: Aamir Liaquat is everywhere.
His own official website says that he went to Liaqat Medical College , but it does not say that he received an MBBS from there:
http://www.aamirliaquat.com/Profile
if you read it carefully it says that he studied at LMC for MBBS , but it does not say that he received an MBBS degree from there. It is called fine print. It is American way of saying things. Like used call dealers don’t say it is used car. They “say new for you car. "
They do not say mother of illegitimate kid or father of illegitimate kid they say " Single parent. " They do not say homosexuals they say " Gay People”.
I am sure many people since the website has been active would have asked him to clarify this fine print .
On his website he is condemning journalists who expose fake degree holders . Why would he do that if he does not have skeletons in his closet ?
Here is the subliminal message in this article of his:
http://www.aamirliaquat.com/entries/Show/520
Actually in Pakistan there are very few people who have both knowledge and the sense of worldly matters and for this, one does not have to be a degree holder, in fact you will find many illiterate people who talk more sensibly and wisely as compare to the educated people, therefore instead of demanding the degree it would be better if election commission takes an interview and passes the degree of “normal human being” to the contestant… Anyhow on a personal level I do not have any sympathy for such people but here I would like to assert that crime does not depend on education rather it depends on upbringing… Surely those who have fake degrees are far from education but it might be possible that many of them have got good upbringing and therefore they have learnt to respect women

double post
Re: Aamir Liaquat is everywhere.
^ LOL, but the point is, shouldn't he be promoting simplicity as part of his religious message? Wearing chintzy fancy embroidered sherwanis costing thousands of rupees can hardly be called setting a good example.
Like I said, it is hardly a criticism. Islam does promote simplicity. But that does not mean one lives Rahibana life style.
I do not watch his shows and have no association with this person by any means, merely pointing our superficial nature of criticism ...simply called ranting.
Everyone who comes on TV has some weaknesses and strengths.
Leave the bad and learn from good.
Re: Aamir Liaquat is everywhere.
If you were talking about some showbiz celebrity on TV then I would agree with you 100%. But we are not.
This guy is claiming to be an Alim and is in an influential position. Surely that comes with some heavy responsibility. Leaving the bad and learning from good is only possible for the very few who are educated enough to know the difference. Unfortunately most are just too gullible to be left with the sifting.
With these fake scholars, my dad always quotes this:
Aye ehle nazar, zauq e nazar khoob hai lekin
Jo shay ki haqeeqat ko na dekhay wo nazar kya
Rough translation
O those of you who can see ( the intelligent observer)
What is the use of your observation if you can’t see the reality

Like the shayr....
Again, criticism on concrete issues is fine, but
What someone wears, how someone shaves not shaves, talks or walks is hardly a criticism. Yes for having fun that maybe alright for some people.
I am trying to write as simple as I can here. He says he attended a medical school. He wants to be called a doctor. Fine. No concrete evidence that he is not. Just speculations.
As long as he is not treating anyone medically, why should anyone care?

that's a first, when did he claim to be an alim?
Re: Aamir Liaquat is everywhere.
^ On ARY and previously on GEO he is described as a ‘renowned scholar’ which in urdu translates as Alim. Personally I cant stand the guy. His style is just too filmy for a scholar or Alim.![]()
Re: Aamir Liaquat is everywhere.
If anybody cares, today's naat or hamd that he recited for Seher I believe, was set to the tune of the nice Noor Jahan classic "Meri Zindagi Hai Naghma, Meri Zindagi Tarana".
Gotta say that the man has good taste in music besides good sartorial sense.:D

You will find your ‘Hum Khayal’ group in that thread.
Re: Aamir Liaquat is everywhere.
I turned on the TV in the night. He was on Jaago Pakistan with Fahad Tunio.
He also speaks very well with nice Urdu diction.
thats probably because urdu is his mother tongue/
Re: Aamir Liaquat is everywhere.
I admit that I was one of the viewers that hated his persona but after watching yesterday's ARY transmission I have changed my mind. I simply don't care what he wears or which song is he is copying the tune from for his naat's and/or hamd. I simply would change the channel when he starts to recite naat/hamd so it doesn't bother me. All I know is that he is talking about Islam and watching his programs there are some good deeds and things that are going on which are good enough for me.
Re: Aamir Liaquat is everywhere.
He was on Hum tv morning show today
