He’s got Dr. in front of his name because he’s an MBBS from Dow Medical College, just like Dr. Shahid Masood and some other on TV that like to put Dr. in front of their names. Normally someone with PhD would use “doctor” or are allowed to use “doctor” in front of their names, but I guess these guys took the liberty of using this term because of having an MBBS.

I don't think he was kicked out, he left the party, although I don't know how he got out of it, as its next to impossible leaving MQM, one would be risking his life if he decides to do so. BTW, he is the son of Shiekh Liaquat Hussain (an MQM MNA/party member).

Do you know something about Imran Liaquat Hussain (brother of Aamir Liaquat). Maine padha tha ke on AH's orders, Shiekh Liaquat Hussain ne usse aaq kardia tha, bcoz he used to write against MQM.

He was kicked out because he was barking on aalim online that Ahmadis are wajib ul qatal. After his statements many Ahmadis were killed by religious fanatics. MQM being a secular and liberal party didn't want religious extremists like Aamir Liqauat in their party.

and not everyone is under a spell, there has to be some good in him that he's on EVERY show
and it's not a crime to look good, it's actually a sunnah to keep yourself clean and good looking.
As for him making money, doesn't he have a family and isn't he a human being? Who doesn't want to make money.

^ There is absolutely nothing wrong in looking good but as someone already said whats up with those super expensive sherwanis and kurtas he is displaying every single day in a country like pakistan where an average person cant even afford basic necessities of life? Isnt he contradicting himself by giving lectures on simplicity yet being on a fashion parade everyday? As a regligious preacher he has double responsibility as He is being watched by millions on natiOnal tv and alot of people out there would consider him a role model so what message is he actually giving out? Is he promoting simplicity or is he modelling for those ridiculously expensive designers? Whatever he does off screen would hardly matter to anyone but being on tv he should act a bit reasonable and lead by an example

I think criticism for criticism is not good.
He has committed few mistakes and is not perfect by any means but the reasons for criticisms like clothings etc. is just not strong.

He is a presenter and dressing up neatly is a good message passed on to the Pakistani crowd especially considering how ill groomed most men are, so i think he's setting up a good example on trimmed beared and neat clothes. If im not mistaken, he has his own clothes line known as Amir liaqat clothes where he has his own shop selling shalwar kameez, just like Junaid Jamshed or Ajaz Aslam.
