Aaj kya pakaaya/khaaya

Re: Aaj kya pakaaya/khaaya

You can easily eat any of this…they are so simple!

Yogurt- store bought

Spaghetti- sauce-store bought, garlic bread-store bought (just needed to be baked)

the hardest part is boiling the pasta or cooking the ground beef

 see that wasn’t so hard

I’m a lazy cook. :hehe:

Re: Aaj kya pakaaya/khaaya

Omgosh!!!

You must share the recipe for the bagels, if possible! I’ve been doing my own research on how to make bagels, but haven’t tested myself yet.

Re: Aaj kya pakaaya/khaaya

Gaia, I have made bagels twice and I loved this recipe so much that I did not find any need to search for another one.

I used wheat flour, but you can use all-purpose (maida). They never come out smooth and supple like the store-bought bagels, but the taste & texture is fantastic. One word of advice, with all yeast doughs, if you are using plain flour then you can use less yeast and let it rise for longer, so that the bread does not smell like yeast (gross!). But if you’re using wheat flour, stick to the recipe. Wheat has a harder time rising. The video recipe makes about 15 bagels, if I remember correctly. I would suggest freezing them right away and taking them out one by one to use. They go bad within one week if they are left at room temp.

Good luck, & let me know how they turn out
