You get them from mithaye shops...they are made of rice flour...
here is the recipe to give you guys an idea of how they taste
Ingredients Andrasy:
Rice flour 150 gram
Sugar 125 gram
Water 1/2 cup
Soda 1/8 tsp
Sesame 1/2 cup
Method:
Add sugar in water and cook it.
When sugar dissolves, vail out from stove. Noe add rice flour, mix it well and make dough.
Now put flour into air tight box and leave it for 5 to 6 days.
When u want to make it, add soda.
Put sesame into dish. Make roll of dough and muffle it on sesame.
Cut into pieces, fry it over low flame and serve it.
Thanks! But I didn’t make anything from scratch. This was one of those last minute throw together meals. I had bought some pre-made tortellini and while boiling that I added some broccoli to boil as well. Meanwhile I heated up some cream of mushroom and thinned it out with milk. I added some parmesan and Italian herbs/seasoning. Once the sauce cooked for a bit I added in the pasta and voilà! It was very yummy.
I've been looking at this thread since forever but never posted. I specially registered today to tell you all how amazing you ladies are! I love cooking but I'm not as good - my mom does the most cooking. Seeing the pictures you all post and recipes inspires me so much to cook more. i just made the most random sandwich ever, and its delicious! Late night cravings I tellya...
khair, so this is what I did, I took left over boiled rice, leftover daal, a boiled egg, and pieces of patatoes from old salan, mashed all of that together added a little bit of mayo and some green mirch ki chutney and put it in 2 slices of bread. and then I put the sandwich in the sandwich maker machine, made it crunchy, and then ate it with pomegrante juice and some Kettchupppppp on the side. WOHO!
