Re: Aaj kya pakaaya/khaaya

Chicken bread

for making bread

white flour (maida) 2 1/2 cups
yeast 1 tablespoon
sugar 2 tablespoon
baking powder 1/4 teaspoon
1 egg
lukewarm water for kneading the dough

for filling:

minced meat 1 cup
onion 1 small
1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
red chilli powder
salt
ketchup 2 tablespoon
1 tomato
cornflour for making gravy thick

method: for bread mix all ingredients and make dough with lukewarm water. dough should be slightly harder than pizza dough. keep it to ferment for half an hour.

in a saucepan, add oil and fry the onion. add ginger garlic paste and stir a little. add the minced meat and let water evaporate. add tomato and spices. cover lid and let it cook for a while till tomatoes are tender. add tomato ketchup and then add cornflour mixed in water. let it cook for 5-10 mins.

roll out the bread dough till it is 1 cm thick. very lightly draw three lines cutting the round in three portions. cut strips with a sharp knife of the side portions. place the filling in the middle portion and cover it with the strips in form of a braid, putting one strip from one side and the other from the other side. bake the bread in preheated oven at 160 F, for 10 mins. take out the bread from the oven and lap egg white with a brush on the surface and again bake for 5 mins. serve with garlic sauce or ketchup :)

garlic sauce

8 cloves of garlic (cut each clove into into 3-4 pieces )
1 cup oil
2 eggs (at room temperature)
1 tea spoon salt
2 table spoon lemon juice

  1. Put eggs+salt+lemon juice+ garlic pieces in a blender. Cover and process blender for half a minute.
  2. Add 1/4 cup oil in the mixture and blend for half a minute.
  3. Keep on adding remaining oil only 1/4 cup at a time and keep blending. the sauce will get to the desired consistency and will be a thick sauce like mayonnaise.

Re: Aaj kya pakaaya/khaaya

^ No need fr so many 'pleaseS'... lol

ok here it goes..microwave instant pizza... for that you need to have tandori naan (or turkish bread)... i have freezed one.. so i first defrosted it, and cut it into slices like of pizza shape... i like crispy crust so i fried (in 1 tsp oil) of one side of the slice in besan batter... then i take lil chicken, boiled and shredded it, and carrots, sweet corns, capsicum, tomatoes for garnishing (u can use anything of ur choice... then apply ketchup on the slice, then chicken, then carrots, capsicum, etc and in the end chedder cheese... put the slice in microwave until the cheese melts... decorate it with mayonaiise and ketchup... simpleee and easyyy
